You are beleaguered where to turn and what to do. I have been down this road but with a few different twists. Ultimatele we all end up at the same place just via different roads and a different time slot. I spent hours praying when it suddenly occurred to me that everything was going to end up just like it was suppose too and I was going to be okay. I don't know if that was a divine inspiration or not but I stopped stressing about my life where I basically was a hobo in my own home. Your mother-in-law is in dire need of relief and needs mercy extended to her and it will be granted in HIS own way and time. You need financial relief and you will be blessed with what you need to help and support your wife to do what she must for her dear old mom. What I am telling you is God will not put more on us than we can bare/handle. Be at peace as hard as that sounds to do it will help your wife much more than you know when she see's you at peace she will be more of a comfort to her mom. Because this comes to all of us at some time or other and your wife's mom's time is very nigh help her to love and appreciate her as long as she can and then there will be no regrets. I didn't do that with my dad and I had to live with it till I received comfort for it. Pman I am still up in Monroe and if you just need to talk let me know and I will give you my number! We have just gone through a similar scenario here. My wife's 57 year-old brother lost the battle against primary progressive MS, last month. We all knew the prognosis but the swift end to his life took us by surprise. It was a difficult time but we have been comforted by knowing that the suffering is over and he is hopefully on his way to a better place and a reunion with other loved ones. It is never easy to watch a close one pass. I watched my father go from an ox of a man to next to nothing as cancer ate at him and it shocked me to see someone who you kind of expect to be around forever disappear, even though the logical part of your mind says everyone must go, it's still not easy. It sounds like this happened really fast too which makes it even more of a shock, I am sure. Try to be strong for your wife. She will need your support. We are trying to be strong but this is hitting us on many levels right now. . Loretta is not in any pain and we just wait for god to decide it is her time but we expect it to be any day now. they say she is too weak to even move to Hospice.
