Okay, so look, if you're on any of the products from Symantec/Norton, or any of those listed in the 2nd to last paragraph of this article, get off of them NOW. Got a paid subscription, consider it worthless and get off anyway! This really burns my ass (kinda like Ricko's flame thrower.) How long have we been able to run processes in a sandbox to protect the OS kernel, and the entire system for that matter? Because Symantec just could not be bothered, MILLIONS of users are presently at extreme risk of viruses, worms, and ransomware. Did you notice who ISN'T on the list? Yup - Microsoft. Why? Well, who better to know how to protect Windows than the people who wrote it ?!? If you are paying for any of this shit, or worse, if you're using a "free" 3rd party antivirus, you've been duped. Time to get off that crazy train. For ... = Use .... Don't know how many dozen PCs I've had to reformat because someone picked up a bunch of shit from downloading Pics and attachments from FaceBook. But it is definitely the number 1 source for viruses. And NEVER download ANYTHING that says FREE on it or FREE TRIAL. I have been using Extreme security package and Professional package for last 3 years and have had no issues with it. The advanced firewall system is what really make it quite superior to most others. Yeah it tends to always run in the background using approx 250mbs of ram and the scans take normally 2 and half hours but it always runs in the background and it hasnt once affected my PC performance. Are you using the free one or paid one? hxtr 1 Awards

Are you using the free one or paid one? The paid one Extreme. Yea the firewall is bad ass. I am comparing a PC with no protection to a PC with protection is all. If you want protection it will take some resources to do so. I hate share resources with AV and Spyware is all. Being a bit picky. A fast enough PC it is not an issue compared to slower PC's. I put it on a i7 with an SSD and you cant even tell it is running. Barron 1

Virus Bulletin claims to have full editorial independence and not to favour Sophos products in its tests and reviews.[1] Sketchy stuff ? Being owned by a virus software company is bad enough but being in the same building and believing they have true editorial independence is a hard pill to swallow. Awards
