Hey Xtreme,

I am the lead Dev on Descent Underground, and we are getting closer to our final release for our game, but are looking to give away about 10 copies to top clans and get some feedback on what we need for proper clan support.

Before I do that though, I want to make sure I am not breaking any rules and this would be something you guys would be interested in...if not, I will take my butt out of here.

I quite like the idea of the game actually as there isn't many space fps these days. It reminds me of one of the old PC/PS1 space fps games with the HUD elements. Graphically it looks good especially on UE4. For an early access game too , you's even support vive and rift which is quite impressive, I don't think I have seen from any early access development team to be fair .

I would be happy to try out the game and give you guys some feedback, no problem there!

@Wingman looks different to what we usually play here  so I would be interested in having a play with it pre-release if possible :) 

I would be interested in if the multiplayer is server based or not? You appear to be running a master server for the stats that I can make out?

I'm currently in Closed Beta on Rising Storm 2 Vietnam but would Like to get a key for a new game....

I also have Closed Alpha access on "Dreadnought"...

Ok, got everyone up to now, let me answer questions.

 

@Sitting duc - currently we are running Google servers, we have plans to release a Client server system at some point.


It is mostly multiplayer - so get together and play, we recommend M+Joystick, or GamePad, or M+KB - but remember you are flying a ship so the turn rates are meant to deal with intertia, we are working on the numbers now to get it a little more weighty feel...should be a new release this week.


Let me know what you think and stop by our forums at Descentunderground.com to pitch in some feedback - you guys are the FIRST clan I have reached out to, and would like to know what we need to supply to you guys to make it more clan friendly.

Fun game, though it still has a lot of bugs! But that's okay since it's still in early access. But found a bug in the training, if you progress faster than the narrator can guide you, the training stops working and you are stuck.
