Then type in the chat for someone to leave because a member is wanting in. I am pretty sure with the age group that is playing people will leave. I have left many times on my own accord when I notice the amount of players in the server. I usually leave when I see it at 25 just to avoid being redirected. I would have no problem leaving and I do not believe that any other non member would have a problem leaving either.

You might leave but not many others would. I understand being kicked for members, a lot of us dealt with that before we were XI, but suggesting I should wait to get into our server when a non member decides to let me in is ridiculous. 

To answer about what we do when 31 XI are in, we get on TS and ask an admin if anyone is in spec that they can kick and if not, we play somewhere else for the time being.

I agree it is very ridiculous for a member to wait for an non member to leave. Members always come first, that's a known fact amongst clans and gamers.

But I also believe that more non members would leave for members. Most of us regulars know a majority of you members and would not have an issue leaving for members.

Maybe it's worth a try?

Dutch Mafia and Funky make members ragequit all the time. The things we won't do for non members to be able to keep playing......

It *should* already work that if every player in the server has the XI tags, and an XI player joins, then any spectator can be redirected. Tag or not. Is this not the case?

@Sammy, the occasions when the server is completed filled with XI members only is infrequent, so I haven't noticed whether it will re-direct a spec or not, but I have seen it re-direct an XI member before. 

 @Angelz, it is an automated process for a reason.  It is randomized, and seems to be the fairest way to choose who is going to have to leave in order to make room for a clan member.  With such a busy server round the clock daily, admins would not be able to keep up with constantly checking to see who they could ask to leave the server with all else that goes on during their watch. The re-routing is a clan choice, as it keeps players within our servers, and oftentimes when it's really busy, several players get re-directed at once and they end up playing on whatever mod it is.  I always watch for that myself, and often have gone into the re-direct server when there are several players and play there myself to get more traffic.  I'm not sure why you keep deleting the map and mod, but I think it would be pretty safe to say that most others do not do that every time.

I only have one server in my favorites list.

If I wanted to play that mod I would have that server in my favorites list. I do not like the other server so I delete the mod and map each time I get redirected to it.

To clarify, it not random. Its based on total time played in the server.

Now... also to clarify. Its not being upgraded for awhile but everybody starts at 0 in 147 since its new. Was that way in 146 at the start back in the day and no way around that. However since XI tags were not subject to redirect, except when full of members, it only happened to non-members. Since its down to the hour it also didnt take long for regulars to get priority.

I've played in servers where someone could initiate a vote kick against an unruly player... if a predetermined number of votes was reached, that player was kicked from the server for a given period of time. 

Perhaps some criteria could be used to offer up 3 candidates to make room...time played on server today....total time played in server...total defrosts for the time played, etc...and the other players in the server could vote...

Voting like that is a bad idea. Opens up problems of voting down people for non-legit reasons for example. Maybe to go along with the crowd. Maybe simply to be a dick (we have our fair share). And then do you want a player that has been there a couple days to have the same vote as an admin. Admins or moderators are the only way to handle it fairly. Doing it that way also includes accountability for decisions as opposed to faceless voters with none.

As for total defrosts etc etc. Thats not fair to those that play as good team members but tend to get frozen a lot. Then you have to figure out weight between time unfrozen and number of defrosts to try and make that fair. Then snipers vs campers vs run and gunners. Next add the map design with weekly rotations and how that affects it all.  And then, everyone has their own idea of what a fair weight would be.  Been there. Done that. Bought the t-shirt. Never worked fairly and not going back.

Besides, I would much rather spend my time trying to figure out a way for players to create and save custom class names. The method itself isnt difficult. Just a matter if I can make the menu code fit without it going bonkers.
