--- Creating a separate thread --- As some of you may know my mom passed away on October 10th, 2017. She suffered a heart attack but survived and stayed with us for 4 more days. She suffered a second one in the hospital that took her away from us. She would've been 61 had she lived 5 more days. It has been very tough for us to cope with this loss. She was the bravest person I knew, she taught me perseverance, patience, and kindness. To always look at the positive side, and give people the benefit of the doubt. She waited forever for me to get married and to have kids. I am glad she got to spend 2 months with my son, I take solace in knowing that she had that happiness. I miss her every day, driving home, having dinner, appreciating art; that was her favorite thing to do. These days I often find myself with teary eyes, like a little boy, it just hits me and my heart feels so crushed in that moment. I feel like she was taken too soon but it's God's will and I have to make peace with it somehow. I pretend to be normal perhaps that's how everyone deals with it, I dont know what to do I am very numb on the inside these days. I appreciate the heartfelt condolences and kind words of comfort from my XI family. Thank you all. P.S. I do apologize for cursing more than normal in-game, its not about you, rest assured.

Hey Boom, I'm very sorry for your loss, I lost my Dad last yr. I know exactly what you mean about missing them everyday, feeling the emptiness that is left there with out them. We are losing a GREAT resource in our old people, they were great ,very kind, and very smart people. The great thing is , we have the memories of them that no one can take from us. I to think of my Dad everyday, its hard to believe there gone cuz they have ALWAYS been there with us and for us. My thoughts are with you my friend!!

I am so sorry for ur loss Boomboom. But u r right to see the good things u got with her - i bet she was very happy to have that time with u and ur family and enjoyed every second. It needs strenght to see the light in such dark moments. Let me know if u just want someone to talk to and who can listen. My thoughts r with u.

I'm so sorry iBoom. There is always a special bond between Mother and Son and it sounds like you had an excellent relationship. You bring that little boy up with the same love guidance that you had and you'll do fine! Much love

I lost my mother unexpectedly over 1 year ago the day after my birthday and still find myself in the same condition it may never pass but I find comfort in knowing my mother passesd in peace but I wish I had more time to cherish her even more...She would have been 71...The only thing I can say is I am very sorry for your loss and your personal pain I Pray you find comfort...

A little 80 year old lady had always wanted to join a local bikers club. One day she goes up and knocks on a biker's door. A big, hairy and bearded biker with tattoos all over his arms answers. She proclaims, "I want to join your club." The guy was quite amused, but explains that she needs to meet certain biker requirements in order to join the club. The biker asks: "Do you have a motorcycle? The little old lady replies, "Yep, my bike's parked over there," and pointed to a flamed black Harley chopper in the driveway. The biker asks, "Do you drink?" The little old lady replies, "Yep, drink like a fish... beer mostly, whiskey when I'm shooting pool. I'll drink everyone in your club under the table." The biker is surprised but then asks, "Do you smoke?" The little old lady replies, "Yep, smoke like a chimney. At least two packs of cigarettes and three joints a day, and cigars when I'm drinking whiskey and shooting pool" The biker is very impressed and asks, "Last question, have you ever been picked up by the fuzz...?" The little old lady thinks for a minute and says, "Nope, but I've been swung around by my nipples a few times...."
