As a kid this man saw a B-17 flying towards him. He could see the pilot waving and thought the pilot was saying hello so he waved back. The B-17 flew over his head and crashed in the trees killing all on board. This man later realized that the pilot was probably waving for him and his friends to get out of the way! Thank you for hijacking this post @hxtr. This is a story about an incredible act of humanity during an inhumane time. It's a story about a boy, now an old man, who has lived every day of his life remembering what had been done for him. It's a story about a man who knows he can never thank those men, but has found a way to do so. As a result the lives of many have been touched in a positive way including mine and a few folks who have read my first post. Please just let this post stand for what it is meant to stand for.

What a great story and Tony 'fighting' for years getting this done next month. I hope they are going to record this and show that to the world. It is touching indeed. Well today, I had my moment too when three of them where close flying over my place. I was to late for the first one and just now they flew back, you might see all three on this picture. I am going to take off the XI tags again. I am going to another clan and out of respect I'm giving a heads up. I joined this clan originally in 2007 and it was alot different then ( and ALOT smaller).... most of my friends ( from those days ) are gone now. I am grateful that I was allowed to rejoin, and by no means leaving for anything done here...I guess people change and I'm people. I will always have a spot in my heart for this clan and hopefully will still be allowed to play in the servers once in a while....To those who are still here from the old days Thank You for letting me be a part of this clan... to everyone CHEERS!!!

Mrs. Smeg and I spent last week in California (San Francisco, Monterey and Yosemite). Snagged these off the camera using my phone. Still haven't had time to post process / edit them. Yosemite and Monterey are absolutely STUNNING! You can keep San Francisco, though. Most of these were taken with a Canon 5D Mark IV and Canon EF 16-35 f/4L USM III
