I've been spending time this year fishing out of my 2021 Ranger multi-species fishing boat. Its a Ranger 622FS, about 23' long with a Mercury 400hp engine, 15hp trolling motor, electric trolling motor, 3 Garmin fish finders plus a bunch of other stuff. Mostly use it on Lake Huron (One of the 5 Great Lakes) fishing for walleye, bass, lake trout, steelhead and salmon. It should run about 60 mph but I haven't tried it yet.

As many of you know, my incredible wife has been fighting a courageous battle with Leukaemia. Less than 10 years ago she would have had an 11% chance of survival. With the use mRNA technology which is used in the Covid Vaccine things have changed. With the help of this amazing medical miracle, cancer treatments can be tailored to ones person specific disease and make what was impossible years before now possible. Today Mrs Pete rang the bell. For those who have battled cancer you know full well the significance of that is. It marks a milestone In treatment in that her chemo is done and she now begins the road to a normal life. Mrs Pete will always have this awful disease but for the first time in a long dark winter.. the sun shines. I love you Jody! Pete

Took a welding course while at junior college, and went to work at a local Millwright shop when money got low. Spent the next 10 years climbing in and around sand plants, quarries, chemical works, and factories up and down the Illinois River. Went to work in Iowa after mom passed away, and had the time of my life with family row-crop & cattle farming, but mostly we made money by running a couple bulldozers for the tri-county water & conservation district. Lost track of how many dams we built, waterways created, and terraces put in. Been across thousands of acres of ground, that still fill my dreams at night. Toward the end (another decade), traveled with my Brother after he split off from Southwest Research and created his own company. Did corrosion inspection for Chevron, BP, Conoco-Phillips and others from Alaska, California, Texas and the Southeast. Refineries, Oil fields, and off-shore piping was our specialty. Met a gal from Illinois, and we got married, she was a Dr. of Pharmacy, so it made sense to come back here. Took a year off to clear property and build a new home. Put my CDL to work from 2006-2016 at Ferrelgas, Conway Freight, and United Suppliers. Lori passed away from cancer, and it was my sad duty to be her hospice nurse. Since her death, I took a position at a local company (thought they were a print shop), and honed an entirely different set of skills, although my machining experience proved invaluable. Hopefully, this was the last time I have to prove myself, because this challenge forced me to drag up brains long atrophied. Looking to retire in 18 months, and further my bottle emptying hobby.

Mostly certified bike builder before brain malfunction. If y'all have any pedal bike issues I could probably help. If brain hasn't forget all I've learned and knew lol. Good things bikes don't get upgrades every so many years like computers. Without tpm security your detailer may not shift into low heat.. might need mircosoft updates.. lol. Used to be computer tech as well at one point

I was a clinical supervisor for a private radiology firm here in Calgary, Alberta, Canada for 20 years. I have now moved on to be the radiation safety officer for the entire firm managing 17 sites. I will most likely retire in the next 5 years and promptly forget what I did for a living, not that I didnt enjoy it. I have always loved working with patients and staff. Prior to that I worked in hospitals for 12 years in Washington state where I met my wife and we had two girls. My wife graduated university and we relocated to Canada where she could start her career in Psychology. My wife, myself and two daughters have always called Canada and America our homes.

I to am a retired electrician. Industrial, commercial, residential, and maintenance. Don't work at anything now, just camping, hunting, fishing, and gardening.

Retired cop ... 30 years. Half of that time volunteer fire-rescue/EMS as well. First sworn in at 19 years old. Handed a gun at age 20. Retired at age 49. Currently a curator for the Coors Light Historical Society ... work from home.

Pete that is the best news I have heard in a while and so happy for you both. I am sure you are both over the moon with joy right now as you should be. Enjoy every Moment you have together and tell her how proud we are of her Warrior Spirit and how she kicked C's Ass. Thank the Lady above for the break throughs in medicine these days and she looks so much more healthy than folks did just a few years ago at the end of treatment. Seems like it is not nearly as hard on the entire body as it has been in the past. Big HUGS to you BOTH from a friend who cares very much
