"Update" from Kelley on facebook Found out biopsy confirmed it is melanoma that has spread to the lungs & most likely the brain. The nodule on the kidney may be benign. They will have us scheduled a PET scan which will tell them for sure about the brain & kidney. While we wait for insurance to approve sending him to rehab they are going to try & have him seen by radiology while he's still at Elmhurst. They are also doing a special test on the biopsy sample to see if it's a certain kind of melanoma that has its own specific treatment. To the Admins and Mods thank you for the job you do for free and for the love of the clan. For the vote understand that we want to make people hapy and know that we can not do it all the time. There are only so many maps for a game that is 16 years old so the amount of maps is limited. We come into play and have fun in a game that is war. In true life you would not get to change the lay out of the land because you don't like it. Play the maps make the suggestions to the admins but remember they are people and try to do their best with what they are given. The rules are put in place so that the admins do not look like they are abusing their power as admins. Not that any have ever done that in the past.

Over 50 years ago when I was growing up this was a reality. No one could afford to spay and neuter. Everyone had a potato sack and a rock. Unless I am mistaken, removing a map from someone elses rotation isnt done unless there is something actually wrong with it. Meaning buggy or glitchy. Not because some other players dont like it and make a fuss until they get appeased. Peace in our time. Rejoice. The answer has always been that if you dont like it, make your own rotation and submit it. But perhaps times have changed and "dont like it, dont play it" has today become "dont like it, ensure nobody can play it". Perhaps every potential rotation should first be posted in an open forum thread. Then debate and take a vote whether or not to add it, or alter it. Then there will be no need to hold in-game skip votes and it can be shut off, so to speak. That should be fun.
