if 3: deploy combat assault mode.  :2guns:

 

if 5: employ multiple medical rescue missions.  :doc:

 

camp out: long range tactical defensive position w/enough kit to last a few hours... :blink:   

 

smoke out: toggle thermal imaging, zoom scope, hold breath, target aquired ...kaboom!  :evil:

I think we need to leave it at 5 rounds for sure, and dropping the time limit to 10 might be worth a try.    I'm one of the haters of those huge boring maps that take 2 hours but on the other hand I'd be sad if I only got to play 3 rounds of bog or something fast and fun like that.    Or like has been mentioned, just take out the crappy maps...   people who play there every day can tell you what maps get bitched about or the admins know which ones people are always asking to switch. 

 

p.s.

can you put forlorn back in rotation?  I miss that one. ;)

I say leave it the way it is ,novagas and all, someone took out the cross bow w/five bolts because someone moaned. All I hear is moaning and growning about every little thing, when I should be hearing how Rugger is doing his utmost to provide our clan with the best rotations he can come up with.

 

For those that tried out the Freezetag Domination game the Novagas was tweaked so the smoke doesnt last quite as long and is more transparent. Also the poison gas area only lasts around 8 seconds. The 3X special nade perk can be used with it. If anybody has used it and has thoughts on whether or not that variation improves things now is the time while I am bug hunting. :stuart:

10 mins goes by too fast ....mayb suggest 12 mins....cause now the small maps are over too fast....ive seen alot of other clan servers use 12 mins...seems to work for them

I am not a regular FT player but..

 

But i think removing the  maps where the time limit is reached in every round is better than reducing the rounds.

One map takes 20 minutes for 5 rounds, the next takes 120 minutes.

Reducing the time per round from 20 to 15 Minutes could be another alternative.

I like the regular 5 rounds but I wouldn't mind going through maps faster. It does get really annoying playing the same map forever. I'm up for trying 3 rounds. 

 

P.S. Are you seriously trying to start the Nova Gas argument again?

Last night on Burgundy map, we were behind by one, (3-4) and we won the round but lost the game by 3-4, instead of going to 4-4.

Is this caused by limiting the game time?

This is usually happens when 1 round ended in a draw with no one winning

There must've been a draw round in there somewhere.  Should have nothing to do with the time.

Or just take out the crappy maps. If we are going to do new rotations with any map that works with the mod, we somehow need the flexibility to get it changed quickly when the maps blow. I.e that major bums map.

I like the idea of 10 minutes rounds, that way on some maps it will mean i am only froze for 9 minutes instead of 14 :(  :whistle:

Nobody played when it was a ftag server either Weed, yet plenty of people asked for this mod and once again we can't get players in there, i was on there this morning with Smurfy and i quite enjoyed it, people should go in there and try something a bit different for a change.
