Rugger is possible to trim down rounds to 3 instead of 5..Some maps take WAYYYYYYYYYYY too long..I run it by in game today and most agreed to it....It will help to rotate maps quicker 2, specially for those who game at the same time and never get to see any other map..

 

Any one else think this might work for everybody?..

Its possible yes, but that is a very big change to a very very popular server, lets see what others think.

 

I don't mind the 5 round limit myself, that way when I have no bullets in my gun I can get more defrosts and try to break my record

I like the 3 round idea. If I am sitting down to play for 2 hours...I'd rather have the opportunity to play a few maps, than spend the entire 2 hours on the same map. (which does occasionally happen).

Or just take out the crappy maps. If we are going to do new rotations with any map that works with the mod, we somehow need the flexibility to get it changed quickly when the maps blow. I.e that major bums map.

Rugger is possible to increase rounds to 7 instead of 5 ?Some maps are sooooooo short when we have 2 or 3 nukes in the same game...  :sleeping:

i say leave it alone at 5 i love it that way myself...all the campers what makes those map take forever to play...anti campin in mw2?..mayb?...only reason those maps takes longer is cause we went from 13 to 14 players per team to 16-17 that when times on maps started takn longer to play..plus i think the nova gas has affected the time as well as on some maps when u get bunch of nova gas hard to move up which slows pushing other spawn down and allows other team to get numbers back so that is another reason map times takin longer to play...mayb drop back down to 14..then maby traffic on 2nd mw2 ftag will pick up like b4 and/or get rid of nova gas and u will see times on maps decrease...

OMG. I can't believe you tried to turn this into a purple gas issue. The issue is the maps. The mod is fine. Just get rid of the shitty maps.

lol i had to throw that at ya bog lol

i think lessing the rounds is a good idea

having to play 9 rounds of a map can get frustrating at best

maybe drop the victory to 4 wins

that cuts out 2 whole rounds we HAVE to play

makes it less than a major change than chili was offering and appeases the mass at the same time

I am not a regular FT player but..

But i think removing the  maps where the time limit is reached in every round is better than reducing the rounds.
One map takes 20 minutes for 5 rounds, the next takes 120 minutes.
Reducing the time per round from 20 to 15 Minutes could be another alternative.

I agree on the 3 rounds is better then 5, some maps really take half a day, takes away the fun. When we have only 3 rounds a map and there are smaller maps they will rotate then quicker as well meaning we will play them more often!

I like the regular 5 rounds but I wouldn't mind going through maps faster. It does get really annoying playing the same map forever. I'm up for trying 3 rounds. 

 

P.S. Are you seriously trying to start the Nova Gas argument again?

OK, so people like the 5 rounds......so let's reduce the time per round !!!!  That way we can still play the 5 rounds, but it won't take 2 hours.  can we possibly reduce the time per round?  I actually asked for this a few months back, but it didn't go anywhere.

I say leave it the way it is ,novagas and all, someone took out the cross bow w/five bolts because someone moaned. All I hear is moaning and growning about every little thing, when I should be hearing how Rugger is doing his utmost to provide our clan with the best rotations he can come up with.

 

If we have crappy maps in some of the rotations, how come I don't hear anyone one volunteering to sort through them and making recommendations on which ones to keep and which ones to get rid of. But then again, one person's crappy map is another person's favorite.
