I'm going to start posting these here as well as sending out the pm, some people are not receiving them

Did you know:
Your eyes blink around 20 times a minute. That’s over ten million times a year!

1. I made a couple slights changes to the COD4 MW2 Freezetag mod
A. Sammy helped and we added a timer to the heist perk, when you die the person with the heist perk will have 35 secs to steal your killstreak, after that they can't
B. Reduced the jumping height just a little bit, might need to tweak this a little bit
C. Reduced the time EMP effects you from 20 secs to 10 secs

2. If you wanna play an older MW2 mod I have a version up on a server here

Only stock maps are in there right now. I reduced the jump height more on this server than the main to test it out

3. If you like Freezetag but need a change of pace, COD5 has a very popular Freezetag server that is populated daily

5. We are no longer allowing strafe jumping on our servers to get to places you're not suppose to be, if you don't know what it is then you don't use it so ignore this. For the people that do use it please stop, the only reason to use it is to get to places regular jumping will not get you. Go to a jump server if you wanna do that kind of jumping. 

6. We are asking players with altered player config files to stop using them and start using stock configs so everyone is on the same playing level. Some people alter their player config files to move faster, reload faster, jump higher etc. We ask you remove all the alterations when playing on our servers. XI servers are meant to be fun for all, if you want a more pro-like or competitive feel, there are other servers out there for that

This is a very good point, I have never altered anything either, so what I read from this is that you have knowingly allowed people to play for years who are effectively 'hacking' ?

Sorry no other way of seeing this, I'm horrified, and so will be other honest souls, interesting that after this announcement at 1900 UK time, the server when normally packed was empty ? Did they assume they would be kicked (or discovered?) how many years has this been ignored ? Not only am I very disappointed but also very angry, no the wonder we have players everyone else has banned.

Please can you explain how you are going to police this? You are already asking people to record and do admin stuff with regards to people who we think are cheating/hacking so how do we pick up on this.

The server was empty because it was offline when I was changing out the rotation.  The modded configs have never been ignored, it was just a public reminder.

I apologise profusely, my first language is English, so asking them NOW to stop using them, and saying they have never been ignored means what ?????

Reminder - definition of hacking, anything that gives you an advantage over those not hacking

I'm quite sure most think exactly the same as me, if they have never been ignored have the people been banned ? - simple question.

This I'm sorry is a blatant lie, the times do not collate by almost 3 hours, 1048 EDT is around 1600 our time, not 1900, please do not treat us as ignorant fools

Fair enough, but that's like asking a drug dealer earning $50,000 a day to stop and be a good boy isn't it? It is so sad that what should (and was) a simple enjoyable game is completely ruined, no hope for mankind is there?

I guess that explains how peps can get to high places for advantage but I couldnt. Sounds like hacking to me. I gotta agree with Rob Mc. Also the extra high bunny hopping.

Kind of feels like the server is headed for 1stMsob tactical play style. I liked the unrestricted play format, but it's definitely not for everyone.. but in that regard, neither is crawing around the map. And I mean that in the sense of running speed, jumping height, ect. I don't agree with config tweeks past packet and fps.. just the basics you know? I'll adapt to any changes, I just like playing with XI. It's a vary fun community to play with!

You cannot make everyone happy all the time, you just have to find that happy medium. Being that said, a BIG thank you to the admin team and MODers for all your hard work! We may cry, however.. we would not be here if it were not for you!

I'm amazed that people who have been here 10+ years think this is a new rule when I've always know it wasn't allowed. The problem is that it's incredibly hard to prove unless you know exactly what to look for, which no offence is kind of the admins job and not ours.

I know for a fact that changing your fps between 125 to 250 to 333 does increase your jump height.  Its what they teach you in jumping servers.  I have seen servers that have a way to detect your fps and block you from entering the game until you change it to a lower setting.  That would stop the increased jumping height. 

And some admin a while back once told the people in game that having your fps set to 333 is not allowed, it has to be 250 or lower.  It is not an issue that is regularly addressed but when it is known that someone is using it they do try to enforce it.

In the current cod4 MW2 mod is regulated at 250fps. You cannot play unless it's set to that or lower.
