Retired last fall and of course have a Medicare advantage plan but I have a condition, medication for which is exceptionally costly and therefore not fully covered. So I thought I'd sign up for VA health care at age 70, see their doctors only for this condition, and get the meds through them at much reduced cost. But VA has turned me down because I earn too much in retirement income. Because I managed to get out of Vietnam without getting shot, I can't get VA health care? What about that promise that in return for your service, your country will take care of you? I've never used any of my veterans benefits. I even declined a tax exemption for veterans on our first house because I didn't want other taxpayers to subsidize my taxes. I was paid for my service. But I'm disappointed, to say the least. Sorry, just felt like venting here because lots of you guys are veterans (and yes, I admit I'm an idiot for not knowing about an income level for VA health care.)

I think i am on the Whitelist Barron but if not add me anyway, hmm wonder if anyone can add JohnnyDos to a whitelist in Rainbow Siege too and come to think of it if we can also add him to the forthcoming Rising Storm/Vietnam whitelist too because i can guarantee he will be slaughtering 1000's of his teammates in that game also

If you'll join me I'm going there now lol, I did say in another post you can never please everyone can you?, but its a real pity to see that server constantly empty now whereas before it was doing quite well, my knifing skills are slipping and need honing (pun intended). But seriously anything above 16 even on the larger maps gets ridiculous sometimes, now I realise a lot of the guys enjoy that - fair enough, but I also know a lot of us like it a bit less hectic.

Yes it is true it is back to 20 people on the DM2 server cause everyone was bitching about getting redirected to the other server even when I had it set to 18 people. I don't know the answer to this other than go to the other server and have your antisocial sod friends join ya there. I'll be there. LOL

The wife and i went over to Niagara Falls friday for a little drive and check things out, forgot it was good friday. Since it was a a really nice day the place was real busy. So we drove around and stopped at the casino, i won a little, it looks like there's going to be lots to do .

Hi, I've said this before elsewhere but perhaps someone can clear up why the numbers have increased on DM custom maps 2 server? the server was/ is very popular and I thought it was a stroke of genius to limit it to 16 and redirect to acemod. It seemed to work well and acemod was handy for the few of us who are antisocial sods and like playing in limited numbers, and there are quite a few. Since the increase again in numbers on the primary server I haven't seen anyone at all on acemod in weeks, which is a great shame as we're back to spawn and spray at times. So I have a suggestion which will probably have been asked before, how about making acemod XI only, so you have the choice of both servers but if you want to play with your friends you can. It also gives you the option of avoiding people you would rather not play with for various reasons. I know it is not in the spirit of the game but the fact is we now have an empty server, perfectly fit for use, that is not being used, not good.

Just a thought I have been thinking of for a while. Since the servers are pretty steady and regularly full , I was thinking of perhaps adding Friendly Fire back onto the servers.The votekicking issue has been fixed for sometime so it would work fine. I still have the previous plugin on the server for the teamkills, I just need to activate it on the server config. Basically if the Friendly fire was back on the servers, if you got teamkilled you would get a menu up on the left side of your screen telling you with the message: "Do you forgive <teamkillers name>" Yes or No If you pressed No you would get a list of punishments you can give to the guy who teamkilled you . It worked perfect when I had it running about 6 months ago If you were on the whitelist you were immune from punishments for teamkilling. The list is still active and hasn't changed so if you are on the list no one could punish you for teamkilling. (If your not on the list and would like me to add you on it just give us a shout) It's just a suggestion we could try out. I just need some feedback regarding it. I was thinking of just testing it out on Server 1 for a day or two. I wont implement it though if a majority of people don't want/like the change

Rob, I don't know who you are talking to about him but all rational and reasonable people over here think this is a nightmare! More and more of the orange asshole supporters are seeing what a mistake they have made and turning against him. He is attempting to dismantle everything progress related and everything good about this country. We are truly a nation divided and far more of us voted against him in the popular results. Unfortunately we have an outdated system that allows the electoral college results to set the outcome. Those facts teamed with Russian involvement in our elections got us this total disaster that we wake up to everyday. I'm going to assume that you speak mainly to people that play COD games regarding politics in this country. Many are gun-nuts or people that want war. I am the opposite of most that play these games. I want peace, equality, gun laws similar to the UK or Australia, health care for all and emphasis on education. I think that you will find that most of his die-hard supporters live in remote areas and aren't exposed to all aspects of how these things effect the general population. In this case, ignorance is a very dangerous thing.

Maybe I should wait to post this but I have been doing nothing but waiting lately. Just when it seemed I was about to be settled I had a couple more set backs. The interestesting thing is when my daughter found this hotel I am in at the moment she wasn't awae the one place I really wanted to get into was a place called the Everett Plaza. My hotel is only one block away from there. I never thougght I had a chance in hell of ever getting into thee as they haven a age limit you have to be 65 yrs of age to get in. My case worker went to bat for me and set up an assessment where we could assess each other and see if it was a good fit.Sure they are a little older than mebut I saw many of thm out walking the halls and socializing. The rules there ae few but the ones they have are fairly rigid with avenues of dealing with the ones you are not able to do. I'll get three meals a day. It's not like a cafe/restaurant where you order what you want, but if you don't like the menu then you can write and alt for the nxt time they have that said dinner you can have what you prefer. I'll be able to come and go as I want as long as I am quiet and not crazy. I realize thismay be the last place I live and if I don't like it well all I need to do is notify the caseworker and find another place I like better and they will simply trnsfer me. Yes I am nervous because I don't know anyone but I am social as well. As sfor the fastest speed I can get but that will be later.oon as I get set up I will be back to gaming but my concern is it's wifi. I may need some advice how to set up my router I want to give a HUGE SHOUT OUT to those members and friends who have supported and assisted me to get to this point in my life. I have till a week from Sunday here at the hotel and they tell me the room should be ready by then. I didn't want to ask for help but some friends insisted so I consented. It seemed every time I thought I was there something would hppen and I had to continue fighting. Hopefully this is the last time I am put off. I feel good about this but alittle time will tell for sure. Again I say thank you to an amazing group of friends

Why should it be treated like a cruise missile? I has to be dropped from a plane unlike a cruise missile. It is cheap to make unlike the cruise missile. It cannot be fitted with a nuclear warhead unlike a cruise missile.

However you have now increased the main server to 22, no one at all is now using the other server and we're back to spawn and squeeze the trigger, I've no problem with that as if there get too many I leave anyway. However we now effectively have an empty server? I'm sure this has been said before and you must have reasons for not doing it, but equally there must be benefits in being XI, so why not make this server members only and the other one open? That way you can play with your friends (I exclude you beers - no knifing) who you play with regularly, it also gives a reason for non members to join?
