Hello all! I'm a1rbud and I play on the COD MW2 freezetag server. I've been playing on-and-off since 2018 so I figured I should make an intro post here. This is a great community, fun mod, and I've really enjoyed my time so far playing with all of you. When I'm not busy defrosting on freezetag, I like skateboarding, cycling (I ride an 80s Italian road bike and blessed with many great bike paths in my city), reading, and watching old movies. Anyway, glad to play here! Looking forward to more fun maps

Maps are rotated once a week just to change it up which works for the number of maps we have for this mod. Yes, we do check the likes and dislikes on and off. based on the general mood of a map, it may not removed permanently but maybe played less frequently. Thanks for your comments and glad you enjoy the server.

Good day all, Our Vietnam freezetag is popular among our regular members and guests who enjoy this type of team play, the mod itself is great however are limited to the number of maps we can play on it and the number of players. Server does get busy during the afternoon hours but mostly busy in the evenings (EST hours). On many occasions, the server is full an only other option is one of our DM servers which is not the same of course. This week, >XI< has brought on a new COD5 freezetag server running the straight openwarfare mod, can be found here (IP 149.56.146.76:28960). Our intent is to have another place for players to go when the NamFT server is full or just want a change. By change, the freezetag on openwarfare will allow us to play maps that are typically not able to run on the Nam mod. The new server is set up similar to the Nam server as this seems to be the pace and style people like but can be tweaked to our liking. A map rotation has just been mostly loaded with maps not playable on the NamFT server. map mp_506th map mp_alcazaba map mp_bellicourt map mp_downtown map mp_dock_assault map mp_dogville map mp_burma map mp_ederdam map mp_fatherland map mp_feba map mp_foy map mp_freedom1 map mp_konigsberg map mp_gustav map mp_kalsville map mp_gb_karkand map mp_koshiki map mp_little_village map mp_mohaa_dasboot map mp_newsicily More maps will be added as they are tested. And by tested, I mean maps that load and don't crash the server or the client (you folks ). I'll need to rely on you for the rest. During gameplay, if there is any issues with a map (ie. too small for freezetag, bad spawns, glitchy, etc), I would very much appreciate your feedback here so it can be marked. Maps I know that are too small I will be excluding but have a couple hundred maps to go through since I don't have a record of maps for openwarfare freezetag. Hope you all enjoy. I played a ton of paintball in the late 1980's in Southern California on a 25 man team called "Havoc" and our best fastest player wore a old business suit when he played he didn't hide from anyone lol. We placed 2nd to Navarone after beating the Fighting 69th in the desert in a early spring tourny in 1987 and this event was the reason I bought a Enforcer constant air hopper fed pump marker made by Gramps of Granps and Grizz fame after using two Nelson 12 gram 10 round pistol markers for a few years. I had a regular hip holster plus I kept one in a shoulder holster so if my main pistol ran out of air/co2 most of the time you got rushed because changing a cartridge took a little time. But my freshly loaded backup marker was active within 3 seconds tops I carried a back up even with constant CO2 because if you broke a ball or something else went tits up I had a plan. I played until 1989 in the LA So Cal region and members of the team I played on became "The Black Diamonds" who won countless tourneys and championships. We played in the woods or on Movie Sets like the A-Teams old war zone set in the hills or in Malibu. I could tell you some very cool Paintball stories and I wish I was a younger man but you will have a ton of fun and Nice Gun Dude. Picture is of me in my backyard before I left for a match, my wife wanted one of me on all my gear. Keep in Mind this was before blowup toys were on a field we played in the trees and bushes and rocks where many old westerns were filmed.

If you need the space you can free up quite a bit by deleting older Windows update files. Left click C, click Disk Cleanup, click (Clean up system files) select everything and press OK. It can take a while to complete. I usually delete mine every month or 2 but it still has over 8gb of junk in it. If you haven't done this since the last big update it could be 80+gb. Don't delete it if you plan on rolling windows 10 back to an older version.

Glad you ok, i have had my fair share of drops. But best advice is to wear the correct clothing/gear. Hope you have many more safe miles. Here are my two girls

Good to hear you are ok, very lucky as most cases like that don't end well for the rider. I don't ride myself anymore but did when I was younger and even then, always wore my leathers. Seen too many that just wear shorts or track pants, etc. and when the bike dumps, it's not a good sight. So good on you for wearing the right gear, although didn't prevent the accident as it's quite visible, it surely saved your life or at least from worse injury. Nice new bike too. Safe riding.

I agree 100% with regards visibility that's why i was wearing all HI VIZ gear and a white helmet lol and he still did not see me. Unfortunately i can not remember anything after the initial impact so i have also invested in a camera for my bike front and back so god forbid it happens again I will have video evidence for the police. Wondered where you were, sorry to hear that but predictable, told you not to buy a new bike, to every new rider out there it is highly likely you will have an incident or drop it in the first couple of years, buy a cheap used bike. I wasn't as lucky as you, but one piece of advice I learned over 45 years in the saddle, they struggle to see you in broad daylight think how much this is increased in the dark or poor weather.

Because very few used it, there were multiple security issues, it was high maintenance and simply not viable for it to continue.

This is the first I'm seeing that the downloader went away. What was the reason for that? I like the looks of the new portal, but having to download 4 files individuals per map for the hundreds of maps we have seems like a nightmare.
