On a weeks vacation in the sun testing the strength of my liver!!! Back on Friday!!

My dad just past away this night at midnight 50 , he was 86 . Me and one of my brother passed all day with him. He was fighting non-alchoolic liver cancer and also bone cancer stade 4 since last feb. All do to diabetis problems. He was very serene with passing cause he said i will be reunited with my wife . My mother passed way just two years ago. We left him last evenig at 630 pm even if he was almost sleeping he was reacting when we spoke to him, and he died when we all gone home. Rest in peace daddy and protect us any where you could be.. picture of him last years at 85. He left 4 kids, 4 grand kids, and 3 grand grand kids and one more on the way.. I wont be too active on gaming in few next days so will be back soon thx all.

Who woulda thought that like 20 years ago near I would hop into a server and stick around this long? It has been an amazing time with you all, but like all things, some things find a finish. I am going to be stepping away from gaming for a while, maybe forever, who knows. I just feel the push and pull of other aspects of life knocking. I will always cherish my time here as an XI member. Have made some life long friendships that will continue no matter where in life I end up. Hi guys, I’m in the hospital with nasty, bad influenza. Everything is okay.The fever days are over-still strong cough —but since I also have COPD and use oxygen when I’m outside and during exertion or physical activity, my lungs aren’t cooperating very well. My oxygen saturation wasn’t sufficient, so I’ll now be on continuous oxygen for the next 7–10 days. Then we’ll see how things look in the end. Best regards …Jenny/ Cheyenne

Hello Everyone, We have been working on some exciting changes to bring to our COD4 MW community. A little while ago we started recreating the currently deployed Freezetag mod so we can recover the source code. This would have allowed us to make enhancements and introduce new features on top of the currently deployed "xi_mw2_old" mod. Our end goal is to have a COD4x Server running our custom mod with COD4x support built in to it. This has several advantages, namely better network performance, stability, security and anti-cheat features. Here are the two tracks where we are working. 1. COD4x Server + xi_mw2_old (existing + some enhancements) 2. COD4x Server + COD4x enabled custom mod We were able to get support from our host (NFO) where they went above and beyond to support COD4x on a managed server. Therefore, we are able to start testing track #1. Here are the details for this server. 74.91.119.86:28960 On track #2 we have made great progress but it is a tall order. We had to reconstruct the mod from a deployed binary and it has been challenging to say the least. We are at 60% completion at the moment and it requires more hours. I will update this thread as I go, and feel free to provide feedback. @Ruggerxi @WldPenguin

. Heard many times - "Enjoy - life goes by very quickly". Never really thought about it much till now. Boy is that true. Seems like yesterday I was playing stick ball on the streets of the Bronx where I grew up (my game name TBB - The Bronx Bomber). Family moved to Paramus, NJ in '56. It became known as a shopping center hub. Back then there were no shopping centers - no garden State Parkway, no high school. I was in the 4th graduating class of Paramus High School. We had our 60th reunion two years ago. From there graduated from Rutgers. Then spent 4 years getting graduate degrees from the University of Pennsylvania. Spent 35 years designing and developing computer systems. After that taught math at a local college for 8 years then retired. Bought my house in '76 - got married in '80 - my son was born in '90 - my wife passed 2012 - been with my girlfriend since 2015. Been hanging out with a bunch of >IDIOTS< since 2010. Some people were complaining about my ping and lag, and I thought why not just move to the States to fix it, so here I am! But yeah, I am here for work. I usually just say I work in education since I have a few different roles. I came to the U.S. as a visiting scholar last year, and I’ll be leaving soon. Back in Türkiye, I have two jobs. I work full-time at a university, and tutor K-12 students in reading and literature in the evenings. I’ve had more flexible work hours here, which gave me more time to travel. I’ve been to North Carolina, Chicago, Miami, Washington DC, San Francisco, Salt Lake City, and Las Vegas so far. New York will probably be my next destination. I may visit some other cities as well, and I’m open to any suggestions you might have before I leave.

No all jokes aside, Love her with all my heart!!! i cannot believe i anounced her day of birth 13 years ago. And now look at this beautyful young ladie now. I am one proud dad. i am grateful for all the memories we made.

We play for fun, we play with honor, and we strive to treat each other with respect and consideration. No one, member or guest, is above our Code. We have walked away from this code too many times. I have dealt with the disrespect of many players when I play, and I'm going to state this to you all. You don't want to play on my team, fine. Don't want to hear me, mute me. There is no need to broadcast it through the server. That is considered a personal attack. Second, you are bringing negative feelings into the server. I know that Biggie did say something one time. So, in short, you hate me, fine, but you have a personal issue with me, then pm me and let's resolve it. Stop broadcasting it on the server. I support this clan from day one and will continue to do so. I host a free movie server for the clan with over 5600 movies and shows. Donate like everyone else and do background support to help the admins. We play for fun, we play with honor, and we strive to treat each other with respect and consideration. You need to check your sensitive feelings at the door when you come here, and I have done so for more than 16 years. I do not need to name names, but the players should know who they are. Play on and enjoy the servers.

Hi Idiots, A couple people asked me to post pics of my parrot JP, I've had him for 39 years now , Everytime I play he gets very vocal and can be heard when I key my mic . Yes that's a very hot pepper he's eating and he's taking a bath in his water bowl. His breed is a Double yellow head amazon . When I got him at 5 weeks old he was just a ball of skin and pin feathers and I could not think of a good name for him so I call him JP which stands for Just Parrot or on his grumpy days Just prick . Hello XI fam, My mother in law passed away yesterday. We learned of the news around 6:00pm pacific time. I was close to her too and this is a difficult time for our family. The kids are grieving, having lost their grandma. We take some comfort in knowing that she passed way peacefully while in prayer. I'll be away for a bit, but not sure how long. She was a huge part of getting COD4 freezetag servers where they are today and she will be missed very much by the admin team. Today is the day I celebrate playing Call of Duty 2 for 20 years. How many of you played COD United offensive on line before COD2 came out? How many of you had COD2 the first day it came out for PC like I did? Today is a very special day in my gaming life and less then a year after the game came out I had found the XI server and was a member. Good Times

Dont forget winter is coming. Here in the next 45 days the soil gonna freeze and will have some snow. I like winter cause its time for southern vacations. Some caribeans cruises ahead cant wait. nothing like wearing bermudas in january LOL.

There seems to be an uptick in players accusing others of cheating or hacking and this needs to stop. This behavior only influences others to join in and becomes disruptive to the entire server and for all those playing, not just the accused. XI does not have many rules but this is one of those, these constant accusations of cheating/hacking are a form of harassment. This behavior towards players is not acceptable and can lead to a ban. If you suspect another player of cheating, then get an admins attention if available or it is recommended to take video and send it to an admin.

I've been seeing and hearing complaints about the maps on COD4 a lot lately, so I wanted to address a few things. Here are some things you may or may not know about maps and rotations: 1. The game is almost 20 years old, so there are not a ton of new maps coming out anymore. 2. Of the 2,000 ish maps in the COD4 downloader, only about 550 or so actively work on the mw2 freezetag mod. 3. Also, many of the maps are made for deathrun, zombie, sniper only, etc., and will not work with the freezetag mod. 4. Maps that haven't been tested - that requires time and effort. Need at least one admin and two other volunteers to test maps. The maps have to be uploaded, made sure they don't crash the server, test for killstreaks and make sure round changes don't crash. I've found that for every 30 or so maps that I've uploaded, about half crash the server, so that narrows the testing choices by 50% right there. 5. There are currently 75+ rotations that have been created by many admins, members, and non-members. We go through those rotations on a mostly weekly basis, and yes, some maps are repeated if they are in several rotations. If you've created a rotation and we've used it, it won't come back around for quite some time as we work through all the other rotations. If you submit more than one rotation, the subsequent rotations need to be different than the first one, or else it won't get used as a unique rotation. 6. If you want to help with map testing or creating a rotation, please let me know. We can set up some sort of schedule if enough people want to help test maps. I can also give you the guidelines for creating a rotation. 7. And finallly, it's not easy or likely to please everyone. Some complain it's the same old maps, others complain when there are new maps that they don't know. There are complaints from people who don't like sniper maps, or they don't like small maps, and so on. Map rotations are generally created to include small, medium, and large maps (usually 3-4), so that all playing styles can have fun in the server. A total of 25 maps is the ideal number for a rotation. If you have any questions or concerns, you can send me a pm. I hope that this has helped you gain a better understanding of what it takes to keep the COD4 freezetag servers running with map rotations that are changed more often than most other games that XI hosts.

Hey fuckers. Sorry I haven't been on in a bit. Wife switched to a graveyard shift last year and since then the servers are empty by the time she wakes up (~6pm pst). Don't worry, I'll go get a laptop here soon so I can play somewhere else while she's sleeping. Until then enjoy your fake high scores while I'm not there. I'm turning 50 years old this year and only have so much longer to whoop your asses while I can still see good enough. I can't believe I have to wear reading glasses to see the damn screen. That is how long I've been playing this dumb game. From being the best almost 20 years ago (FU if you don't think so), to being an old grandpa now that gets pissed off when I'm not on top and can barely see the screen sometimes. Hi Guys! Thanks for the compliments for the computer desk showing ealier. Lets contineu the storty; So my Daughter (Caitlin 12 year old) Is a huge Pokémon fan and she kind of dragged me in to it also, its a big child-hood memorie. So when things got out of hand and i already had my new desk as i showed because i tought why not buy some more new stuff and see if we can make our collection (in the same computer room) a little nicer and so we jumped in my truck and driven to Ikea wich is thank god not to far away, rushed to the store to get some furnirture for our collection.
