Keep it as 3 shot then.

 

And like P!nk and others said: It's ridicilous that if you shoot straight at someone the enemy doesn't die.

f.e. Yesterday I played on overgrown, there was a player at approximately 60 meters from me. I shot straight at his head. First bullets didn't collide, I was sure I hit him, then after like 5 bullets i got hits and thus the kill. 

 

Other example (still at overgrown): I was in the wooden building ride accros grandma's house. Pink was in the attic looking through the small window, aiming at me. When I saw her I shot her but I got no hits (where there should be hits), since I didn't got the kill, I hid behind the wall.  Got no hits. She duck down, and as she duck down she fired a few rounds. And those few rounds, killed me through a brick wall and through the wooden wall! And she was sure that those last bullets shouldn't hit me! Not only the fact that the bullets wend through 2 walls, she didn't hit me.

 

And this happened many times. I aim at the body; don't get the kill. I miss the target; got the kill. This is really strange and takes out the fun for me.

 

Don't get me wrong. There a lot of good things too about the mod. But in my opinion the weapons were great as they were.

Sentry problem is nearly fixed.

If you die with a sentry nade it deploys, then when you spawn you get a sentry gun.

It only happens once not over and over like it did before

I went in today and speced Drama LLama for 3 rounds. He was hitting everything he was aiming at from short to long shots, to people moving and standing still. There was one shot where the guy was at the other end of the street(a very long shot) and was behind a cement carrier with just his head barely showing. Drama couldn't hit him but that is a very tuff shot, and for shots like that I think you would need a sniper rifle to hit the little bit of head that was showing.

 

 

I will continue to spectate people that post in here and watch and see if I can see what you guys are talking about, so for Drama is still the hack he always was

I just went in there again on a different map. I watched Google, Drama, Refund Please and EXTKamiKaze and did not see one issues with the guns. Everyone was hitting everything they were shooting at.

just a quick thought, how about being able to access a car with a certain amount of defrosts instead of/as well as  the 3 kill streak? Especially when your spawn has been blocked or you are the last man, if you defrost the right amount you get a car? not sure if this has been discussed already

I know about the sentrynade bug. SAM is the same. Fixes coming. Had no time this weekend to work on much. Yes points-based streaks have been discussed a little but doing such a thing would have to be all or nothing to be workable. Cant do it for just the car but airstrikes and all of that. But then it also becomes a mess to work out because there are so many ways to get points.

Coming soon. Still lots of stuff to work out and fx are not right. But the functionality is there. I would like the lasers to have sounds as they whiz by like for bullets but havent figured that part out yet. On the test its defrosting enemies. Any thoughts let me know.

seems to be much easier to hit a moving target than a stationary one...just aint right

 

Ya tell me about it.Some wiener was sniping me with the ACR and I tried to snipe him back with several different guns ACR,M14,AK47 and some other assault rifle but I just could not hit his ass.He was out in the open and I had clear clean shots at his head but I couldn't hit his ass for nothing Until I pulled the 44mag out of my pants,took aim and POW 1 shot he was down.Pistols are 100% more accurate than the Assault rifles are At long range.Something is a tad bit funky with that.

 

I was firing 1 bullet at a time at a clear target at aprox 65-70 yards and not a single hit registered until I switched to Pistol.

I will try to record a game and capture the issue. It's like plumbing, or car problems they don't always show up when you go looking for them. When the guns are off, they're way off, that's after the fact that I have maxpackets set to 100. It's happened to more than 1 person.

I go away for 2 weeks come back to a new mod some bit are better most are not, I had dTap on my rpd machine gun so if u hit a player hes dead not on the new mod also if u use a betty it should work ie u trip it, it will kill u. Whats with the I will just lie down and it blows over me what the fecking point in having it.it seems to me that the game is going like xbox and ps3 games

the new mod makes it a run and gun mod NOT A TEAM GAME MOD .

also the perks I put a grip on and it takes away a perk it should give u more as its very hard with the large machine guns as they are slow and heavy.

 

can we have the pld mod back plz .

ps can we make the hit box very large if u bunny hop ,

try and jump up and down with a gun and shoot noobs.

Well lets see....

 

Betty quick-prone to avoid damage is a standard ability. Both in the mod and stock cod games with it.

On the other hand Betties have a 360 degree blast not the cone of a claymore.

Nothing changed about the RPD from stock.

Grip and perk 1... I dont understand. It has alway been this way since 2007.

Hit boxes have been hard coded into the game engine for a long time. This is because of people hacking it.

Bunny hopping is annoying but a standard part of the game. Besides with practice they are not too difficult to shoot.

After all they cant dodge while in the air.

Freezetag is a TDM style game not Sabotage.

I MISS MY ACR... I could hit things with it... The new one has little range and low accuracy.....

I would suggest using a different weapon, the noob ACR is gone. But there are different weapons that are very good. None of the weapons will be like the old ACR where there is no sway and anyone could shoot anyone from 5 miles across the map with just seeing the top of their head. 

 

Myself I have always used the M4 for all the versions of the mod we have had on here and I kick all your asses with it lol give that a try

For bigger maps, I use the Steyr AUG found it to be accurate and very effective even taking out beady little heads. For medium or small maps, AK47 is the best in terms of power and magazine capacity. M4 Carbine is great for accuracy but lacks kill power. No more cutting people like butter as we used to with old ACR.

Just want to give a heads up that yes it does look like the RC jammer checks do not account for frozen players. Will upload a fixed RC script soon as I can. I appreciate letting me know about unusual circumstances like that so I can fix them. :welcome:

The Scar-H with silencer is the gun I found to be most like the old ACT, for those interested

I have an issue with the armor perk. I the armor is so good it takes two tubes to kill them then they should not be able to move very fast to counter it. I t is making it non-hardcore with them running around like jackrabbits made of ademantium.

On the other hand I am sure those that have armor love it. One of the problems with hardcore is that players can be killed with pea shooters. Increasing health for everybody isnt an answer. But giving the option for armor to those that want it... at the expense of some other useful perks... is better. Besides, it now makes stopping power or explosive damage valid perks to have. Otherwise there is no point in even including them in the game.

I like and hate the armor at the same time. The fact is, it works and stopping power indeed makes the difference. On a related note, is 50 armor points the max that you can get from defrosts?

I agree...i shot someone today nearly point blank with a shotgun...did not kill them....come on.

 

Also...Sammy, is it a misperception on my part...or does this mod make it take slightly longer to open up a car than the previous mod did?
