YYYYEEEEHHHHAAAWWWW! LOL Well a lot of you know that my wife and I run a 24/7 roadside assistance company and mobile mechanics. We have a contract with a limo company to keep a fleet of 11 up and running. Well today everyone have fun and shoot people for me lol. We have our whole fleet booked today for a fundraiser about an hr away and the owner wants us in the area just in case. Also for this event they have a friend of the limo owner outta another town booked as well...... somewhere around 25 limos will be in the area and my wife and I are the service for them!!!! HELL YEAH!!!! So wont be around 2nite to kill everyone lmao.....but gonna go get ours lmao. have fun everyone and wish us luck and pray for a great evening for us!!!

it is kinda funny that after so many years one feels the need to change everyone's favorite server . and while this is an MW2 style mod is suposed to be a fun mod know ideas of balancing and make it realistic are floating around so rugger if the new mod comes out can i convert the BO2 server too the old mw2 mod so we will have 2 good servers well 3 combined with ft1. i will be happy to support that and do the weekly rotations .

Hello DM2 Fans. [Sidenote] I am continuing work on a custom application known as the COD5 Rotation Manager (C5RM for short) which I have been using for a few months now. It's a spare time project, and I've had very little spare time. Yesterday, and because of a request by Rugger to keep DM2 and DM1 in sync, I have been working to expand the capabilities of C5RM to handle rotation changes on all COD5 servers, including Sniper and FreezeTag servers. For the immediate future, it will be upgraded to handle DM1, but the changes I've already put in place make handling all COD5 servers a short step rather than a long leap. By next week, I should be announcing DM1 and DM2 rotation changes as one post. Possibly by the end of today, DM1 will get the same rotation set listed in this post via C5RM, but there won't be any announcement. It will just happen. Here are the maps for the coming week. Easy solution for fps is just set it to 333. Not sure if it is just the mw2 server that does it but setting fps to 0 (unlimited) or above 333 destroys jumping mechanics. F4H have theirs at 300. I usually just leave mine at that seeing as I go in there from time to time. A radical solution for foilage could be to set lodscale to 4, I honestly doubt most people would notice. Setting maxpackets to 100 is a no brainer and should have been the default setting when the game came out. Some sort of bot like b3 or something similar would be preferable for the foilage issue though. One small thing I would like is to be able to switch into killstreaks instantaneously or at least have protection from being frozen while switching.

"many people can't handle that". Can't handle what exactly? Their card can't handle 333? Have you done a study on this? Even if they can't get 333 are they still able to take advantage of the minute increase in jump height (which is apparently massive)? If the difference is so massive why do F4H have theirs at 300? Maybe there is some kind of massive increase from 300 to 333? As far as people that can't enjoy the game without exploiting. I have no interest in gaining advantage over others with console or config adjustments. I couldn't careless about the slight differences in jumping height from an increased fps. What I don't want is to play a choppy laggy game which playing at 85 fps provides. I also don't want to be playing at a disadvantage to others, similar to everyone else. I am all for a standard set of console values, just not defaults as they are awful. That is my opinion. As far as the streak thing apparently I am not allowed to voice my opinion on that either which is what this thread is for. I can see a poll has been taken clan wide on this issue though by you and that I should find a safe location first as the masses have spoken. Happy birthday.

Fix the sniper rifles!!! They are the worst weapons to have. I have shot someone 10 times in a row and not even a hit marker yes someone from the same distance uses the Sar and kills me 1 shot

I don't have too many issues with the mod. I do have a hared time with some of the sniper rifles, but I think they should be hard to use. I found a combo that kind of works for me. No match for the sniper folks but I get by. I would like to see EMPs when tossed on a teammate also do a bit of defrosting of the enemy too. Perhaps not a full defrost but a couple of points anyway. That will make those frozen jam points a little more interesting on the defrosting side. Further to the emp thing. If I die while about to toss one and it drops at my feet, I think it should defrost me. I like being able to defrost a few peeps with the car and then Blow someone up, especially Chile. Question on the sniper rifles. When I set up my controls, it appears that there is a way to zoom in and zoom out with the scope. Is that true? I haven't been able to get that to work.

Is this COD Insurgency? Seriously this mod is only fun because of all the insane things in it. Become a car, escape away from the heat. If hit registration wasn't an issue I would make a case for bumping up the speed on the server. I remember messing around with speed and gravity settings and not once did anyone leave because "it was so unreal to fly across the map". I will say this openly to whomever says neuter the RC, or reduce spawn protection timer, or add more recoil, or increase reload times., or remove bunny hopping !FU sideways, upside down, til you start crying for mommy. There are plenty of other servers that have a flavor of what you are asking for, this server is defined by all these things. Changes I would like to see: - Add a death streak to fart at a passing by enemy when you're frozen - Soldier skin for women - Taunts, Unreal style, but with care for the touchy feely types - If you toss all weapons you should be able to punch enemies both alive and frozen - When you're in spawn protection your teammates don't block your way, and you can pass thru them but you still bump in to enemies - If someone has the highest kill streak on-going they get announced as MVT for enemy team, not their location just that they should get attention. Whatchu sink abouts dat?

Bunny hopping, IMHO, is part of the "root identity" of XI FPS gamers... I think it would be a mistake to fuck with it, personally, in COD4... at least in the "faster" mods like MW2. I wonder if you put up identical MW2 ftag servers, but just made the ability to shoot while hopping different between servers, which one would get used more. I would wager the bunny hopping friendly one will always be more popular. There are PLENTY of "realistic" FPS games out there (including Insurgency). In conjunction with that, I don't think there should be ANY penalty for someone who camps. The game is the game - we've been playing it this way for damn near a decade (and we played COD2 this way as well). I don't think we should make changes that affect any particular playing style.
