Hi all. I just uploaded 8 new maps for COD2. Our clan has a couple of map makers (me being one) and we wanted to share our work. Not too many people are making COD2 maps anymore. Hope you enjoy. !OHMY! Shartnado

In one episode they made more progress than 6 seasons of The Curse of Oak island!

DM1 is considered a backup server (it runs identical map rotations as DM2) for use in the event a world-class player comes into DM2 and folks don't want that level of competition. It is passworded to prevent that undesirable player from following the crowd, so to speak, if it moves to DM1. Otherwise, any member or guest who regularly plays in DM2 may play in DM1 as they please. The password is: runaway Have a great day Mike!

Just a thought!

Wrote up a quick test script, for home testing, for a bigger EMP defrost. Yes, currently it is smaller than the 'blast' size and requires accuracy. The balance is that there was no distance check for a timer nor obstruction checks and it would be a full defrost always. Make an accurate throw and you are done. The alt version, which I have to test out later, will be distance based and function similar to regular grenades or a flashbang. Twice the radius but the defrost timer is based on distance. Also it will check for obstructions. If you cant see the flare, or the flare cant 'see' you (same thing but matter of perspective), then you arent defrosted. Which version is 'better' is a matter of opinion as always. And it will have to be a setting that applies to everyone.

Small correction. Because it is passworded admins are allowed with no real reason to kick any player deemed annoying out of the server. They can do that because a passworded server is deemed private. So not open to the public but open to everybody that want to play with the rules of that server.. Yes I know we hand out the password to everybody. It is so those players that ruin the experience who want to play with those in that server know they have to tone it down. If they do not wham bang your gone. In the DM2 server you need a lot more reasons to do that. I thought all the admins knew the reason for that. Something like that.

Some are making this harder than it is, to wit... DM2 is an open server. Anyone can play on it regardless of skill level provided you follow our primary rules of no racism and no personal attacks. DM1 is a passworded server. We realize that over time everyone will have the password but that's OK because it serves only to allow us to determine who plays there. For instance if you come in and repeatedly clean house and our members and other guests complain about you, we'll ask you to leave and play on DM2. If you don't, you will be banned from all XI servers. Hope this helps.

Thanks for answering my question guys. I think I got it. The >XI< DM Custom Maps 1 server is for non world class players (like me LOL), and you need to be invited and be given the password to get in but anyone can read the password here in the forums. XI admins know who should be in there and who shouldn't. If you come in you may be kicked or permanently banned for being a hacker or a jerk. Right?

For casual or new players looking around for a populated server, if they see it is passworded, then they would have to search for the clan website on the off chance that it is publicly posted. Which it isnt, except by chance on the chat box. Or that someone here would give it. Which also is not a given. Logically, if you see a password its because a server doesnt want unknown players. Obviously some try anyway and succeed instead of moving on to another populated server, of which there are several here. Could be that they think passworded servers are better controlled to keep out cheaters and otherwise unruly players for a better experience. Which is true. Or they are one of said players that specifically do want to get in to screw around and get pleasure from it. If banned they dont care and say 'next'.

I just realized that, lol Its still an invite only server, the person asking for it was given the password, not everyone.

This is an invite only server, if you are not invited then you will be banned. Admins will place bans when needed.

I think you could have dropped the whole dragon storyline and it wouldnt have changed a thing...they played no real part in the war...maybe in a warmer climate?? And talk abut under developed....the whole white walker king thing... .I thought maybe we'd get a little backstory but 7 seasons...winter is coming winter is coming.... boom....winter is over...now back to our regularly scheduled plotting and scheming.....

I never fail to deliver dear @AyaqGuyaq , I do not smoke and I can't remember coming in a long time, I am currently giving details of this puzzle to our government as currently they too don't know whether they are coming or going, and something fishy is afoot.
