No it is not a rule to get rid of freedom of speech neither is there a rule that you will have it. In fact there are very few 'rules' as to what can be posted on these forums. However we have always reserved the right to remove objectional content and that is clear in the terms that you agreed to. Hi all, posting for the first time, I have been playing on the COD4 Ftag server for a little while now and really enjoying the fun over there, Some great people to have a laugh with. I'm Based in Derbyshire, England UK. Been gaming on and off for about 20 yrs, First Clan was *FZI* Fragging Zone International in the old SOF2 days. I do my ribs using the 3-2-1 method. I baste them in yellow mustard and then hit with a dry rub that I love called Kosmos Q Honey Killer Bee BBQ Rub(get on Amazon). I then wrap them in heavy duty foil after 3 hours..but before I wrap them I put a layer of brown sugar topped with honey on the foil and lay the ribs top side down on top of the sugar/honey...then wrap them real tight. Cook at 225 (my smoker will wander between 210-240 when I set it here) I start layering the sauce as soon as they come out of the foil....put sauce on every 20 minutes during the final hour. Here's a shot of them on my smoker. I always get the 3 rack packs at Costco and cook all of them together...I then take 2 of the racks when done...cut them in half and vacuum seal them for the freezer. So nice to be able to take a half rack out of the freezer and place right in pot of boiling water...they taste just as good as fresh off the smoker and can have whenever I want in about 30 minutes. If I can remember I'll try and shoot a little video the next time I do a cook.

@Timmah!Here's a pork butt I did a couple weeks ago. Same mustard/rub combo. Smoked at 250 for 11 hours with no wrapping, basting or saucing of any kind. Juicy tender pulled pork which I also portion out and vacuum seal. It also makes great pork tacos...throw some in a frying pan with a little water and some taco seasoning when the mood strikes.

@Ruggerxi Rugger, I used to have a Remington 870 Mag special purpose 3.5 inch duck gun. I purchased a rifled barrel @ the Cabelas in Owatonna MN a few years ago. I tried several types of sabot slugs including the 3 inch from 2 makers. the 2 best slugs for accuracy at 100 yards were the Winchester and Federal 2 3/4 inch. Now I have done a lot of bench rest shooting at our club. Nothing fancy but I do use a great tripod and rear leather sand bags while sighting in. The 2 slugs I mentioned BOTH SHOT UNDER 2 INCH GROUP AT 100 YARDS.(I'll look for the targets if I kept them to to confirm) The 3 inch which were much faster would do no better than a 6 inch group. I would always go with better accuracy than speed. I consider a six inch group at 10 yards very poor. Shooting free hand that could mean a miss or wounding a deer. I do realize every gun and every shooter shoots different but you might want to try a few 2 3/4 if you haven't already. Good Luck. Wayne

With pain in my heart i am writing you all to inform you that at my dad has passed away at 02:30. Dad was fighting lung cancer. Today the ambulance picket him up in the early evening to give him better care in a hospice where he would get all the attention and help he needed to give him the best possible last days of his life. Unfortunately his body was so weak and he became so skinny that he did not had the power anymore to fight back against this horrible disease. Rest in piece We will miss you so so much

They look great! Would have been nice to see a transverse sectional view of a piece; video would have been even more fun. Well, let's have some specificity, Mr.: What temp(s) did you use? How long did you cook 'em? Did you use the 3-2-1 method (smoke, wrap & bake, unwrap, sauce & bake/broil). And, coincidentally, I wrapped some ribs & threw them in the oven @ 250F @ 1:30 this morning, before retiring for the day. Got up @ 6, drained the grease & threw them back in @ 275 until now, 9:45. So, roughly 8 hours. Gonna unwrap them & do a few 8-minute saucing sessions under the broiler with them with a mix of bbq & honey. Might even make some gravy with some of the drippings, then freeze it in ice cube trays & store it in a quart freezer bag for later usage.

Put those nuggets down and pay attention. 13 November.

In TS you can have it set so the player name is spoken and not USER has entered,,,,go to tools---options--notifications--default text to speech. You can also pick female or male voice.

Rose, that was the worst thing I could've done. It not only announces your name but every other person that joins into team speak no matter what game they are playing. Cod 2, Cod4, Cod5 Side room chat rooms, and every game that XI has on their website. It was like grand central station at its busy hour. Could not even talk cause team speak repeatedly was announcing another person joining team speak. I went back and hit the default tab and ahhhhhh, nice and quite except for the people I was talking to on team speak. But thank you for the post it was interesting. Just not for me.

I have an ancient Logitech Dual Laser Mouseman that I recently retired. Use a G502 which is fine, but I may have to switch back. I still have all my old "ball" type mice too. I keep everything !! Still have 5 1/2 floppy drives in boxes !!

I shouldn't be telling you this but I use a ball wired mouse (have to search hard for them now) you may laugh but I play on sniper servers where you need precise control, no comparable types for this type of use.

I currently have this Corsair Vengeance mouse. Have had for a while now and like. Good weight and feel. You may very well be the best COD2 that any of us have ever seen, or you may be very good at concealing various hacks. Either way, your complete domination of every single game you participate in has created a lot of unhappy players on our DM server, some of whom are members of XI while others are regulars that have played here for years. Many of our regulars were not playing when you were present and we have to look out for their best interest and that of the clan. Judging by your extensive history playing on other servers that I have found online as well as bans placed on you by some of them, the action we are taking shouldn't be a complete surprise to you. Being great at something and winning a lot can be fun, but never losing would seem to get pretty boring, just as getting beaten by the same person over and over again gets pretty boring for those you constantly beat. Again, we're sorry it's come to this but we feel that this action is necessary for the good of our clan and players.
