We got her when she was a pup and she was a great dog all the kids loved her so much they played with her took her for walks but now she is always sick and can,t hardly walk as her legs can,t hold her up for long. But she did have a good life and everyone loved her and we all will miss her loads So its time to say good bye to her. We had to put our 18years old dog in Feb 2011 and our 16years old cat asleep in Oct 2012, so the pain is still there and it somes up again with every stupid situation .... times will make it a bit easier, but to loose such a loyal family member is very hard, even if u know u did the right thing. Me and the ex was facing the same thing but the night before we was taling her to be put down she had a major seizure and passed! I cried my heart out.
