hiya all i have 5 steam keycodes to give away for arma 2 every month for free there's no requirements to have a code but there are a few rules no account can receive two codes e.g. for their friend or kids etc one per person first come first served codes are sent out in order of post old to new the game is free and you don't have to play it but i would like if you would try the game at the least once a code has been sent to a person (in a pm) you won't be given a second code if you lose the code e.g.. failed to activate as i know personally all the codes work as they are paid for through steam same if you lose access to the account if you need help setting up the game drop any of the arma admins a pm on the website or join ts (prefer it's on ts as it's easier to communicate this way) other than that if you want the game just post below and i'll get back to you as soon as i can I look forward to seeing you in the servers

Sorry Rob, was cleaning my keyboard one morning (without shutting computer off) & the usual garbage flashed by the screen. When done, all my personal files for WAW were vaporized. Ok, dammit, I was meaning to buy a new video card anyways, I'll do that & reinstall. Bought a new Radeon 570, had to order an adapter because my power supply didn't have an 8 pin. Installed, booted, ran for a bit then poof...powered off. Tried again, same event. Took my power supply out (specs are out of sight) & I had a 500w rather than the 700w I thought I had. Ordered a new 775w, it came in, installed, and no boot. Needs a 4 pin for the atx board to recognize & run. Did a diagnostic on the new power supply, it checks out fine, put everything back together with the r7 250 radeon & it all booted back up......except the .exe files for ALL my games are screwed. As of right now, my toy that is SUPPOSED to be relaxing has royally pissed me off & I'm tired of f'king with it. Going to the Tap Room w/friends later this evening, maybe a few IPA's will put me back in the mood to sort things out. Until then, cheers m8!

I have been coming here for a little over 3 years and I can't remember if I did an intro post so I am making one now. Hello everyone. My name is Angelz. I am going to be turning 62 this year. I have been a member of these forums for a little over 3 years and I have also been on teamspeak here and there introducing myself to everyone who was on. I started online gaming in 2001 when my husband showed me the game Medal of Honor, then Spearhead came and then Breakthrough. I was then hooked on shooter games. During my Spearhead days I had the opportunity to be involved in setting up and organizing tournaments with over 32 clans participating. We gave away money and pc parts to the top 3 winning clans. We held one tournament in COD4 when it was first released. During my COD4 years I spent a lot of time playing in leagues where I had a lot of fun. Back in my Spearhead days I was involved with the anti cheat program DMW World. The US/CA clan I was in at the time came out of a UK clan that created DMW World. Later in COD4 I was a streaming admin for PBBans. I was also involved with cheat police and a couple other anti cheats. A mate of mine was playing in an XI server one night and asked me to come play with him and the rest is history. I have had a ton of fun playing on all XI servers over the years. Now I just have COD5 installed as I kind of bored with COD4. That's all for now. If you have any questions let me know and I will answer them.

Always puzzled me why some people needed 'tours', did they think the lady sitting partly clothed in the window was cooling down after a hot bath? Or were they real perverts and needed to see every one in case they missed something? Perhaps this, looking at the date, is a pre emptive April fool, a country with an open drugs and prostitution policy trying to now hide these from tourists is very weird. I'd love to know the commentaries on these tours, ' This is Lucretia, a cross dressing dominatrix, specialising in pain and suffering', did the sad tourists get their rocks off on this? Glad I'm normal :- now back to my rubber suit.

Got a new computer, spent a week downloading games, patches etc and now trying to get COD4 working... I could give up the will to live! If it isn't DirectX it is Punkbuster but I don't know which...

1 was great, 2 was too hard to get a homerun, 3 is great, lots of variety

For myself, it's that I find other games to play really. Nothing else than that. I dedicate most of my time to CoD2 if I am not off playing something else in my extensive steam library or other platforms I have. I still come onto CoD4 MWF2 FT every now and then though for a good laugh depending who is on or the map being played.

Wait till you get to higher level stuff on that game. You won't hear the end of trash talk and personal attacks.

I grew up, haha. (Some of you might not even get that) But seriously, I work a lot and have interest in other games besides cod4 really. Plus, a lot of the people I grew up gaming with aren't around anymore. I don't know half the people who play in the servers now.

Was playing a lot, mainly the DM2 server, when wifey worked afternoons and me on days. She quit the job, which greatly reduced game time, except with the COD2 gang weekend mornings. Fortunately, she’s looking to go back to nights again soon, meaning game time will increase again and we’ll have more money!! Win, win!

Well, for alot of people over time, things change. Sometimes folks get sick (too sick to play - like cancer), sometimes folks get super busy all of the sudden and cannot find the time to get back to gaming, sometimes folks find their lives all of the sudden change and their circumstances are different. I remember when I played MOH (AA, SH and BT) those games were so much fun, I never, ever, ever thought those clans/servers/maps would end, but alas, as these games got older, more and more folks eventually moved on. What I have learned over these years is cherish your gaming, the games you decide to play, the folks you decide to game with (if you are loyal and have specific servers you like to go to) and enjoy yourself,cause you never know what the future days will hold for us... Now everyone get back in those maps soldiers! Hup two three four, we wanna game some more.
