Wondering where you got your name from? 

I got Stormcrow from my love of Lord Of The Rings, it is a name the King of Gondor calls Gandalf while controlled by Saruman

All the girls in high school called me smegma...not sure why.  Okay just kidding....I came up with the name Smegma back in the day playing Quake, etc.  I wanted to come up with one of the foulest names just because...and it stuck.  Unfortunately some other schmuck stole the name Smegma when I moved up to COD4.  I used SGTSmeg for a long time but changed it to Smeggie...well...because that's pretty much what everyone calls me.

I have had MordBlack since AOL days. I played VTM(Vampire the Masquerade) in the Chat channels and the Full name is Mordecai Blackstone. I have been MordBlack in almost all the games I play.

I had a couple names over the years

ChEEzE(LaG)  from Q2 days

On3gative when I started CoD4 then switched to Shadow because it was short to enunciate

Now I use Devious for most things but Shadow here.

Between the time of moving from Florida back to Kentucky in 92 was in a place of truly loving AC/DC and getting into gaming. The same name all these years later and in every game I have ever played. The rest is history.

Bazza is another name for Barry and I was in a Ninja clan years ago so I just put them together and hey presto here it is

I used to use the name TheCheeseyHowitzer - i used to take chunks of cheese into work and snack on and i used to throw the bit i used to hold in the bin at a distance and i used to work with someone who was in the Royal Artillery and i remember him saying along the lines of " fucking hell reminds me of the old days"

 

So i put 2 and 2 together

I started gaming back when Red Baron 3d was fun and used the name FA62_Criminal. When I switched over to COD I went with Unarmed because I’m a huge Superman fan. He is the worlds greatest superhero and he doesn’t carry any weapons.

The first game I played was the MOHAA demo. I had no clue and still don’t. I called myself Really Bug Dog! I was in a server and picked a semi rifle, got kicked! Apparently it was a bolt action rifle only but the server owner had no clue how to block the other weapon choices.

That day I was fertilizing my lawn with Weed And Feed fertilizer! I wouldn’t use that type of chemicals on my lawn ever again.

It was available and been that ever since.

This story started when I was born. You see, my name is Eric Vaughn, hence Ricky Vaughn Wild Thing, long before Charley Sheen. I was born in 68 My love for classical music I like old-time rock and roll. Wildthing has been my username for dial-up days of the Internet.

Well, we'll go with the "clean" version here 

WILD, because when I first started playing COD4 I used the Saw, and just sprayed and prayed.  People said I was wild with that gun.  And PENGUIN, because I LOVE Penguins! Have had a penguin obsession for about 40 years now.  You can't help but smile when you look at a penguin - can't stay angry or sad, so it's penguin everything for me
