What is interesting about the above is that everyone has chosen electric, which I love, but to me a truly great guitarist has to be acoustic too, no aids, and no just strumming chords, you don't see many using both? Now Jimmy Page truly excels at both as does Rob Lamothe, Knopler etc etc etc

One of my favorite guitarists. Probably more for unconventual style of guitar playing. On some of his music he plays rhythm and lead at the same time

In my opinion Mr. Gilmour has one of the best and most soulful sounds out there..the video is long but worth listening to. Especially if you play guitar

If you see me running.....you better run too because something is chasing me. Seriously though I did a lot in high school. Won first place in mile long runs. Now I'm on my feet so long at work feeling like I'm running a mile that I just haven't in forever.

Not sure about the best....but one of my all time favorites is someone that doesn't get nearly enough credit for his talent as a guitarist.....Vince Gill I saw him live about 20 years ago (sat in the front row) and I was mesmerized watching him play.

Ok, here is how it works: Its total time played just not in the last 30 days. And yes deleting a profile resets your stats. Nor is it rank because it also benefits players with the most kills... or in this case also defrosts... over a set period of time. We have tried different methods of auto redirect and this way is the most fair to everybody. Otherwise if its kills then run and gunners have an inherent advantage over everybody else especially snipers. They also tend to suffer the greatest number of deaths but using K/D promotes camping. Another, someone that maybe only got 5 kills in two rounds (raising my hand) would have less priority than someone that got 10 in five minutes because of grenade spam. Do you include streak kills. Another thing that benefits r&g and camping. Tried different weights between them all to get some kind of combined score but then its a question of which one has more priority and everybody has a different opinion. For non-clan members there is one balance to keep in mind. Spectators not on a team have a large 'negative' score so to speak so they have the lowest priority and kicked before anybody else. Clan members are exempt from this. The time played stat also doesnt increase for spectators. Only if you are in the game playing. Time played on the server, and spectating, does apply if all players currently in the server are clan members. We tried redirecting to the other server but players didnt stay long. They preferred a full server somewhere regardless of the mod.

The redirect issue is not an easy thing to handle. You have members trying to get into a server thats full of people that are not members. Our members do come first. Then we have registered members that play a lot on our servers and are good friends and can't get into a server because its full of people spectating instead of playing. Now we have the way we can solve all this. Member uses the private slot and kicks ?? is it with the lowest score some idiot member who is not wearing there tags correctly , The player with the least amount of time is our server ?? And on and on it goes so the admins made a choice and not everybody is going to be happy. The best way for a registered member to have this not happen is and always will be become a member. Running a server is not about a bunch of settings its about making the players happy. There's only so many slots and on the popular servers we have to go members first its not that hard to see and understand. I am not a big fan of the redirect but its a tool that helps the players that do get kicked to another server that we hope they will like. Getting that right is hit or miss. This time it missed and pissed somebody off that knows how to post.

Should a run and gunner with a score of 50-9 have a higher priority than a sniper with 10-2? What if 25 of those kills was because you were ultra lucky and got a tacnuke in a care package? What if you are 50-9, but only have 5 defrosts, while another is 9-50 but has 30 defrosts? How do you weight that? Is the number of kills more important? Or is defrosting? Now you see how using value judgements like that is a lose-lose. Total time played is the only thing that is fair across all players. The other option I suppose is admin choice only with no auto redirect. But then you get into value judgements by different admins on who should be kicked. They wont be the same. Like whether or not you are glitching. Best to pick something fair but keep it out of the hands of personal value judgements.

Jeroen, I cannot run due to limitations with my asthma, but I love being outdoors and hiking. I can hike for miles, and plan on doing some traveling/hiking through Europe and places like the Pacific Crest Trail or the Appalachian Trail in my near future.
