Well that all went sideways. I'm shocked people think Chile has balls. Mrs Chile had them removed quite some time ago. And dirty they are not the dogs are licking them clean  every time the rains brings them out of the ground. Like little squeak toys. 

 Anyway I got my answer. Not one person knows why. Few care, a lot more care its over. That might be a good thing. Reason I asked because it is important for admins to know why things happen and why team members think they happened. Last  was it solved in a way that people could live with. IDK  I do know people care that its done with.Which in a sense means get it fixed fast .

Regardless what drama Transpired..  it's over now,, move forward.. 

I didn't require a paycheck when I did Admin stuff.. I did it to help Xi manage it's server.. that's it..  

Anyone that thinks they should be paid, is mistaken..  never once was being an Admin a paycheck.

It did pay in other forms..  Satisfaction, knowing your helping the Xi community..  able to rotate the map when needed... etc..

People, please don't forget,, this whole thing is about being a community..  a group of friends you can count on to have your back in this game or that..

You know who's who, for whatever server you enjoy...

Many Many Thanks to the Staff and Admins, that put up with the $hit, and still get the job done...  Props to you all..

i see nothing,,hear nothing ,,but as a regular member i guess thats the norm. I do see admins on vietnam server all the time and it is usually full every night so im dont know who you are referring to as i dont play much on the other cod5 server,,just not my style.

OK this is now serious, we see on the shoutbox that 2ManyBeers is banned from XI and the forum, now it may be that there is a good reason for it, if there is could you tell us what it is ?, WTF did he do ?? I for one want to know now. This was a great Admin, a great guy who year after year gave it his all, we all (obviously not all) enjoyed playing with him, this must be very very serious to exclude him altogether and seems to be a secret, but finding out through the back door is not great either is it?  When I said I was glad it was all finished I was unaware that he had been banned, I just thought he had been temporarily sidelined from Admin, now I understand what this post is about.

So stop fucking about, with asking 'tell us what you know, and don't know', I for one am an adult, make some announcement in the members forum, it may even be we agree, but what I see is now is like living in a dictatorship where people just disappear?, I'm disappointed in XI and I'm sure others think the same.

beers went and changed his name to whatever it was I can’t remember right now I’m on the road, he either rented a server or started playing on a different server which is fine, he stopped playing on our servers for a long time. Where the problem is and the reason he was banned is because I got a message from someone with a screenshot showing a pm from beers saying to stop playing on our servers and come play on this other server that he plays on. 

I’ve had people tell me he was doing this over chat programs which is fine, nothing I can do about it and isn’t breaking any rules but is not cool at all. Once I got this proof he was doing it on our website then the ban was put in place. 

He was always free to play here all he wanted just not as an admin, but decided to go a different route, I’ve had conversations with him trying to get him to work this out but didn’t want anything to do with it 

 

that’s the story, he doesn’t want to play here and he doesn’t want others to play here

Had many laughed with this dude back in the old days,  But can't say I am surprised by this move at all, as you can see his bitterness brewing for a while .

Just think that Admin shit got to his head,  It was HIS server and he would SNAP if anyone that  touched it.. Too bad.

Thanks boss that"s explained it fine, I do not know who he messaged but he certainly verbally told some of us which server he was playing on, although he never insisted I play on it, at least to me. However fact is I do occasionally play on others servers, which many of our members do also, I also play with my tags on unlike a couple of others I've seen on occasion. On that particular server he was on, there were at least two current admins and three current members playing there also at times, under real or assumed names, never once did I hear him recruiting, but you got the feeling he was unhappy with XI, that is true. 

Your explanation about recruiting is fine, and a just punishment, enforced by all clans but does not explain why he left in the first place. Chile has a point, he was a bit possessive, but not over the top, but he did devote himself to that server. Hopefully we will move on now, but if he apologises he deserves a second chance, I am now curious as to who -grassed' on him? human beings eh?
