Since no one else will I guess I do it.. I just wanted to thank my wife and friend and GG for five years of adm duty, 2 adm and 3 head adm.. Some of you have no idea what really is involved in being a adm or mod, senior adm for this server. I have seen first hand for a long time..GG came into gaming long after I did, But took it up quick and enjoyed it very much. She is a very smart and level headed woman and some one who took her roll very seriously and enjoyed it ...She is the Brains in our relationship.. I'm the ... For no reason other then time , it was time to step down.. Other then @Ripper calling on vaca at 730 whining about server needing restarting that made her choice to step down... lol no seriously, it was just time... So i just wanted to thank her for all her hours and time for us and tell her I appreciate her and love her... Good Job GG!

Great words from great people, understand and know one thing. There was not one person or thing that made this happen.. She just wanted to move on and let some one else move up or what ever is done.. No one did anything to make this happen.. As for her not posting this is exactly what she is, she didn't want to make a big stink about it, just wanted to drift away into the sunset and blend back in... Sad news, but as Angus stated being an Admin and a great one at that is very time consuming and I would think stressful. A great admin (we have many) wears many coats, mother, father, religious leaders, mental health worker, and a referee. How tiring it must be to take care of all the XI Family and our many quests. I've said it before, we who drop in at our leisure to play a few minutes or hours have at times forgotten, or not realized or appreciated the the endless hours of work it takes to run this successful gaming community. So to Gator Girl, Rugger, all the admin team, map makers, and moderators and anyone I’ve missed working behind the scenes. We the XI family thank you all. Weed

I was lucky enough to talk to Killa the day before he passed on to gaming Heaven by phone and we had a awesome chat about XI and our shared love for COD2 and XI. The game was still RED HOT and the clan was growing daily but his loss shocked us all. I am so proud to see that this event still continues every year however it is sad to see the list of fallen hero's growing each year. This is a great way to honor our friends no longer with us and to relive the early days of XI. Look forward to seeing everyone there, except HXTR.

As the title states, sudden death once the time runs out would be much more enjoyable in my opinion than just giving the win to what ever team has the least amount of frozen players. This would promote less stagnant camping near spawn mid game when people are afraid if they push they might get frozen on the enemy side of the map and lose the match. This is how they do it in the cod4 freez tag mod and it's pretty neat!
