Numerous court cases -- both previous and current -- clearly establish that in a state of emergency, the President of the United States along with individual state governors have the Constitutional and legal right to restrict travel, business, etc. In this specific case, it isn;t about a military action nor civil unrest. It's about the overall health, safety and well-being of all American citizens. The visus doesn't choose political or military sides ... it only chooses illness and death. I understand the financial and social hardship that this virus creates. However, only fools would contest any attempt to reduce and eliminate the threat. In fact, those that gather to protest are only creating a greater danger to themselves and the American public in general. We have only begun to see this virus in the real world and the deadly threat that it creates. It will only get worse if protests occur and politicians succumb to weakness and their overall lack of education, training and experience with this deadly virus and situation.

I've been playing with you enough lately, figured I'd go ahead and introduce myself. My serious PC gaming days started way back with Ultima I (grew up in the same neighborhood with Garriott). However. it all started with a Sear's branded game of pong. Fast-forward 40-something years and here we are today. In semi-recent history, I've been playing COD4 on and off since it was released. Played a few others, but always end up back here. Personally, I've been married for 27+ years and now that the kid closing out college (once they are allowed to go back, that is), the wife travels with me for work when the location is somewhere she thinks would be joyous. It's ironic (sadly) that there are news articles circulating these days about how "preppers" (who were once considered fools) are actually NOT fools. I'm not talking about the paranoid zombie apocalypse types ... just the ones concerned about realistic natural disasters, pandemics and war. And here we are in a global viral pandemic. I started "prepping" about 15 years ago, give or take. Food, water, "equipment" (you can define your own take on that). Granted, I've had plenty of training and professional experience prior to this point, but the fact is that everyone should have seen SOMETHING coming. For the last month, I've supplied people that were unprepared with basic essentials such as PPE, food, water and shelter. Yes, shelter. It's sad to say that so many friends have said in the past, "Hey, if something goes bad I'm coming to your house." The bottom line is that they will not -- maybe cannot -- and if they do, it's not my problem. Too bad, so sad. You should have had the survival mindset to prepare. Now, we have morons raiding store shelves of toilet paper and basic cleaning supplies. Up next is meat and non-essential groceries and supplies. Check out eBay, Amazon, Etsy and other online marketplaces. You'll be surprised at what is no longer available ... or has been price-gouged to ridiculous amounts of money if it's available. The positive point is that natural selection is in progress. The downside is that we (you) should have been prepared before this viral pandemic occurred. What have YOU done to prepare and are you managing it well based upon your training and preparedness efforts?

Ok, many if not all by now know of my obsession with the Canadian rock band Monster Truck. I have seen them play live 30 times now, I have played ONSTAGE with them for a song once. I am in one of their music videos. Backstage with them all the time, hang out usually once a week with the lead singer. I am the ultimate fanboy when it comes to this band! I have multiple signed albums, posters, jackets, shirts and all that. Well, yesterday I acquired the holy grail!!! I caught wind that the lead guitarist was thinking on selling one of his guitars, a 1972 Gibson SG Deluxe that he never uses any more , it is red and he since has changed to only Yellow guitars (yes I have 2 yellow guitars same as his as well LOL) he used it for over 90% of the recordings on their best selling album Furiosity. Shot him a text and we got to talking it all over, he gave me an AMAZING deal on it as I am pretty much the 5th member of the band LOL, he sold it to me with 2 stipulations, 1.... I don't sell it.... 2.... IF the band gets huge in the next few years he buys it back from me, at over 3 times what I paid him for it AND he will give me a different guitar... SOLD!!!! So now I am the proud owner of some of the bands history!!!!!! He even signed the back of the headstock for me. The guitar is beat up, used, well played, has traveled the world, and is now mine!!!!!

I stored nothing but the food for the cat. When we are out of cat food, we'll eat our well feed cat... because we shared with her. @RobMc Neither my wife agrees about the end of the story.

Yeah, I don't think it will cause a huge spike state wide. I'm more concerned with the area. I live about 10-15 minutes from the capitol. If the amount of people there are from the local area... It could raise our numbers. But yes, time will tell.

It will be interesting to revisit this in about 2 weeks but considering the population of California is about 40 million and with no more people than are at this demonstration this won't cause much of a blip on the radar, but for those states like Georgia and Texas who just through their doors wide open... we shall see.

For what its worth... ive sold my gaming PC back in 2015 and bought an MSI gaming laptop (GE72 2QC Apache). Im still playing on it now (mostly COD 2 / COD 4) and it is doing it perfectly!! since mine is 5 years old you will be just fine with todays model. good luck!
