I don't go places that I need to wear 1 except at certain stores and I don't pick my nose, rub my eyes or put my fingers in my mouth without washing my hands or disinfecting them. If the whole world would shut everything down for just 2 weeks this crap would be over wouldn't it? Pretty simple in concept but that will never happen.

Hey buddy everyone knows that squirrels love nuts, the holes are for me to make sure those nuts are in prime condition. A quick rub on the nuts warms them up in our cold northern winters and in the summers the hole provides welcome cooling. Rob has every eventuality covered, well that's not strictly true is it? you must sometimes expose your nuts when the opportunity occurs. I also carry a small worm in case I spot a bird, or better still a group of birds sunbathing feeding, Rob is no 1 nature lover.

I can sit outside a bank and watch everybody put there masks on before going in. Even odder is the bank employees tell you you must mask up before coming in. Amazing times.

Oh boo hoo, folks complaining about wearing masks...     O M G are you kidding me?  What about this global pandemic don't you understand?  If only we all had been smart enough to wear masks when this first started 1) We'd be like New Zealand (with hardly any of the virus anywhere in their country and they can live normally with no economic issues  2) 500,000 folks in the USA, for example, would so far STILL BE ALIVE!  3) the strains and mutating of this virus from hell going on would have been stopped/prevented.   What a mess we have now.  

 

But alas, no, we are a species who "knows better" and yet not yet "knows better."

And to those of you who have lost loved ones, and to those of you too afraid to go out of your house cause you have pre-existing conditions or have loved ones or friends or co-workers or neighbors or fellow human beings with pre-existing conditions and you understand the dangers and consequences of how this virus works and spreads, to those of you who go out every day, wearing your masks and trying so hard to prevent getting it, spreading it, bless you!!!  And may this global pandemic end soon!  AMEN!

Saw this story on the news the other day.  The media and government talking out its mouth and ass about masks.  One map shows where all the highest cases per capita of covid is and the other map showing where mask mandates have been lifted or never existed. And guess what, every state that had the highest cases had mask mandates.  Not a single unmasked state showed up on the map.  And the story was about masking up.  Idiots.

Most masks can reduce the risk of spreading but do very little to keep you from contracting it through your nose and/or mouth. 

Try this little experiment. Have any of you tried to wear one of those Surgical Masks and paint with a spray can or a paint sprayer? Or sand drywall with one on?

They do not stop Paint particles from getting sucked up into your nose and mouth. I actually tested this myself only a couple days ago when I was re-painting the rusty deck on my lawn mower. I had rust particles and paint up my nose from using a wire wheel on the deck and painting it with a Surgical Mask on.  How in the hell are they going to stop a Microscopic virus from entering your nose or mouth if it can not stop a paint droplet that is probably 1,000+ times larger?

This is true, and a good and valid point, strictly speaking the only people wearing masks should be those with covid where the mask catches most of the particles, the prevention of catching it wearing a paper mask is almost non existent, but it makes you feel safer. That said you can buy masks that do both jobs well, seen a few people wearing them, but they ain't cheap.
