He suffered far too long. He and I made some beautiful memories over the last 5 years as we walked through is medical journey. We were always close but helping a sick parent taxes you and at the same times forms an incredible bond. I feel great relief knowing he not hurting anymore. Not many 66 year old men can say they have/ had a 91 year father. Mother has contacted Covid in the nursing home in turn my wife, sister-in-law and I have also been infected. We can’t go to the parlour but if I feel better I will go to the burial. Thank you for following dad’s journey. Thanks for all the kind words and prayers over the years. When my Uncle was diagnosed with inoperable cancer, he was not ready to go. The doctors gave him just a few weeks without treatment. Treatment was rough but we had 6 more very very good years with him. I'm so glad that I had spent alot of time with him, especially near the end. I know that when my sister passed away suddenly it hit us very hard! She had her own family but I seriously regret not visiting her alot more often than I did. WeednFeed 1 Awards
