Today I have removed 1 map pack SPJ19.iwd and did a restart (rotation was kept in line) in a attempt to alleviate some of the download failures...The maps in this pack were sniper maps and not in the rotation... If anyone is still having problems please report here ! Also make sure you clear out any temp files before attempting to download any of the packs again and you may wish to try our downloader HERE Sorry for all the problems loADER>XI<

Ok, so my computer has failed spectacularly and I suspect the graphics card is to blame. I would like some advice on what card to get as my mobo is pretty old now, so i don't want to waste my money on getting a card that is just going to be held back by the mobo and processor. Mobo is GA-A55M-S2V so it's a PCiE 2.0 and i only have 8GB of RAM. I will be getting a much better PC in the near future, so do i get an all singing all dancing card now and transfer when i get a new PC, or get a cheap card now and get a better card with the new PC? Any recommendations will be gratefully received.

I'll start with me...56 years young, playing on XI servers for 8 years or more but only a clan member for 2 years I think...I'm old and can't remember chit....Boner....? Depends what you are after really, all MMO's have similarities and some have very stark differences. It's always been that WoW vs RuneScape fight. Personally, I hate WoW. The story was janky and all over the place and it made no sense what so ever and I could never get on with the way the quests are done or the way that the game played. I tried and it was just a no from me. Now switch to one of my favourite games of all time, RuneScape. I love everything about this game. For me, I am a lore hunter and a lover of a hell of a good story. The story in this is told slowly over time following quests that are split into different catergories depending on what you want to do in the game and you are free to do whatever you want to do. The quests aren't "fetch this" and "kill that". The longest quest I had to do was over 4 hours long and it was so worth it, the story was well done and it all made sense and I actually knew what was going on! Another one took about 5-10 minutes. They all end up becoming intertwined near the end as well which I really like. That is my piece on it though, I find it tough to explain my favourite games, for sure. But one thing you need to remember is what you are looking for in it. Is it the world? The setting? The lore, the combat, all of that. So many variables

Couple things to try. Remove your CMOS battery and let it sit for a few minutes to clear CMOS. If you have a multi meter make sure that the battery has not gone bad before reinstalling it. They DO go bad or dead after a couple of years. They are a CR2032 3v non rechargeable battery. Re-seat your CPU and apply new thermal compound. (Intel Only) Look for bent pins in your socket or dark colored pads on your CPU. Make sure there are no chunks of thermal compound in the CPU socket. (AMD only) Just re-seat the CPU and put a Pea sized glob of thermal compound and reattach the cooler. Re-seat the memory,Video card and all of the SATA and SATA power connectors hooked between your motherboard and HDDs. When a power supply goes bad the computer normally won't even turn on. Never buy a Cheap power supply. A cheap 650+ watt PSU will have 2-4 power rails with each power rail being less than your video card needs and it will cause serious system instability untill the PSU just blows up. A good 850W PSU will have 1 60A+ 12v rail where a cheap PSU will have up to 4 16-20 12v power rails. A higher end GPU such as a 1080TI can peak up to around 375W. 375W divided by 12v = 31.25A minimum. Rule of thumb? Double that for system stability and the other components. So 62.5A minimum on a Single power rail. Times 12v for your max PSU wattage of 750W. Most Mid to high end AMD CPUs and Video cards use a bit more power than Intel CPUs and Nvidia GPUs. A 1200W Gold or Platinum rated PSU actually uses up to 30% less wall power than a 650-850w PSU because of higher efficiency. It will only use what you need.

Will make a suggestion if your looking at Spain......Salou...... Tarragona is lovely and short hop up,Barcelona is short train ride[Barcelona Stadium], Porta Ventura theme park is massive, Salous beaches are great and about 4 times larger than Benidorm[ beach sand[ toe in rocks!]... nearest Airport is Reus down side if they have not extended the run way plane basic slams on to tarmac lol
