This was released from NFO, which might be contributing to any lag seen lately We are observing particularly frequent and large attacks today at most locations, including NYC. When an attack is occurring that saturates one of our upstream links, our system instantly null-routes the target to minimize damage, but a small burst of packet loss is seen by a segment of clients (those whose inbound traffic came over a saturated upstream link). The primary source of these attacks continues to be Amazon, as they still do not have systems in place to effectively mitigate outbound attack traffic. Some other cloud providers that do not proactively notice abuse and do not quickly handle abuse notifications are also involved, including Oracle, Microsoft, and DO. We will continue to mitigate these attacks as they are seen. We have been in contact with a couple of these other cloud providers in the past about improvements that need to be implemented on their end to help, and we have been assured by some that improvements are on the way. In locations that can receive upgrades, such as Chicago, we are also in the process of those upgrades, to help on our end with attacks that may occur later on. Attacks activity typically comes in bursts, and holidays are a favorite time for attackers to launch attacks. Update @ 7:32pm PDT on 4/23: Nearly all of the impactful attacks over the last 5 days (and in fact, the last several months) have used a provider called Digital Ocean (DO), which is experiencing difficulties with abuse and fraud right now. Attackers are launching attacks directly from their services. We have asked DO to block traffic to our Chicago location as an emergency stopgap measure while they work on improving their internal systems. We will likely do the same for other locations, including NYC, on Wednesday. As a test, we have blocked traffic from DO this evening. We expect little collateral damage from this based on our testing, but if you experience problems, it could indicate that you have a service which is connecting to DO infrastructure and will need to be migrated to other hosting. Please contact us with your feedback.

Made some desktops....all are 1920x1080. The first sonic boom jet I thought I would try to make myself. I cropped the jet and made the boom flash myself, added clouds. The other 2 are just pictures I found and thought they were cool.

This has happen to me several times in all cases a manual restart a few times would trigger a report and simply let it sit and it worked out every time...Problem noticed after was microsoft had pulled my drivers on video and sound and added their version....Went to AMD website and download correct drivers to fix... Device manager/display adapters/right click on device/properties and go to events --- there you will see recorded any changes made Do that on all devices if you wish

Can I please get a player loadout that would allow me to carry 10 stun grenades in lieu of carrying a primary weapon? I think @bogleg might second this motion as well. In all seriousness...I am at the point where I really don't care what you do @sammy I actually enjoy trying to figure out how to best work any changes that come about to the game. I play more just for the fun of hanging out with you good folks and trying to annoy the shit out of as many people as possible with stun grenades. As long as you leave my ability to kill someone with a direct hit from a stun grenade alone...I'll gladly play whatever you change. Thanks for all the effort you put in to keeping this mod going. I will have to disagree.. Who said sniping was easy? Please DO not touch rifles.. P.s..I would like C4 to stick to team mates , the way it STICKS on everything else..I want to send Rugger , Crack or even IceQueen into enemy spawn and watch them blow everybody..

I like almost everything in the game, except a few things. - Sniperrifles are terrible in accurancy - RC XD should only defrost, not kill - As soon as a person dies, it should drop the ammo he had left (as before) - Maybe (just maybe) the flakjackets a bit overpowered? - there is something off with the hitregistration, when jumpers are being shot it does not hit them. Same goes with shooting someone in the back.

I would like the mod to have the ability to set every ones player config the same, everyone has the same max packets, max fps, same foliage settings etc, so like PB use to do just with out the PB issues I think this will help a lot with people so thy can't cry when people get killed but over all it seems to be fine thanks rugger

If you haven't seen the latest episode do not read, there could be spoilers for you. I love the GOT series and season 8 has been good, but I thought maybe we would of had some killing by now. I thought maybe Jamie would of had the same fate as Little Finger, but they accepted him....for now. Can't wait for the next episode and we start the great war!! Why hasn't Cersei been in this season yet? She has to play a huge role in the coming episodes. Is she going to just wait to see who comes south after the great war, the living or the dead, or does she have something else up here sleeve? Love to hear your opinions on the new season.

So, bought a key for a younger Aussie friend that doesn't usually have money cause, well, hes 17 and doesn't have a job, but it seems GTAV isn't on the RSSC for him to even activate. Based on the above idea, could make it so that if you shoot someone with a tac nuke you win the round. Of course nothing to stop him from using it the moment he gets it. But still.... There are no bad ideas. Only bad implementations.

If you can get to Task Manager (i.e., ctrl+alt+del works on the black screen), you can go to the File menu and Run new task... and tell it to run explorer.exe. This will give you your desktop back. I realize a Windows "reset" probably fixed the problem, but if it comes back... My work laptop gives me a black screen on every boot, so I'm no stranger to this procedure at all. There are no other side effects, and I have no clue what's causing it in the first place.

1: If the nade already left your hand, according the the game engine, then it is its own entity and continues. If it hasnt, then its considered a cooked nade and drops. Similar to how you can shoot someone that has a tube but you also die because he already got off a round but its still in the air. The player is dead but the grenade doesnt disappear. 2: That might be a little punitive. There is already a bonus if you shoot a player that is 1 short of a streak. Making that relative to how high of a streak it is sounds interesting. 3: Health of the RC is 100 points. But yes if you have stopping power you do more damage. The only weapon that can destroy it in one shot, assuming that perk, is a sniper rifle (standard no-perk damage 70 points). Otherwise, with that perk, two rounds from an AR or LMG will destroy it. 4: Cant do red-dot ping for a single player, game limitation. Also, cant do any icons on the minimap because there are a finite number of those and they are all reserved for frozen players. Can only do the moneybag icon and because thats basically running around with a big target on your back that everyone can see it should only be used with extreme campers.

Its always been around that cod4 sniper rifles can be slightly buggy if you try to use them too quick. It takes time for them to settle down for a dead on shot even when holding breath. More than just what you see.

O come on now, i am talking about sniping campers, or afk'ers and unable to hit them on the target......Me too am playing this game long enough to know it is definatly not me. That is also THE MAIN reason why i do NOT use sniperrifles because i do not know where the hit registration lays. Little bit more right/ left... Who knows? The aim on the Saritch is dead on target.

1st like to say thanks Sammy love this mod, it is the only game I play. When I found xi freezetag server I was hooked. Any mild changes to me will make no difference just have to adapt. Would be awesome to have cattle prod size tasers tho that even worked on teammates to get them moving :)

I have the same problem with my PC. But what causes my problem is my game keypad that I keep next to my keyboard. If that sucker is plugged in when I start up I either get the same error as you or a blue screen, But if UNPLUGGED when i start up no problem at all. So my suggestion would be unplug everything and start up then see what happens. It might not solve your problem but its worth a try before wiping your hard drive and starting again. Good Luck

One thing I'm really excited about is the prospect of high-speed, non-satellite-reliant internet service so I can get back to tossing tenderly and lovingly-cooked nades at my COD4 Server 1 foes . . . and friends. I've been to San Francisco before, and it's absolutely beautiful, especially its China Town. Its definitely the cleanest, non-stinkiest one I've been to yet. The China Town in New York City is cool, but stinks because the seafood vendors--or a lot of them, at least--dump their spoiled products down the sewer grates. Not a good smell in early August. Put some floats and a sail on your scooter, load it up with extra batteries and several cases of beer, and sail over, buddy. You'd be a sight to see on your passage through the Panama Canal, swearing at all the railway workers and tossing empty beer cans "overboard." Make sure you wear a British Flag tee-shirt so they know where you're from. I'll pick you up in the Bay, and we'll take Uber back to my apartment, where you can pass out and wake up the next day exclaimimg "Criminy sakes, where in the blazes am I? And where's my wallet?" I agree with Pink, the sniper rifles are not that accurate. I noticed with the one that looks like a hunting rifle, it is a bit more accurate. But the other ones. I have been on large maps, hold my breath, the player does not move.. Yet it still does not hit them. Also, you should not get a hit marker from a headshot from a sniper rifle. Should be instant death. I'm for using PB, maybe put the version that works and directions for setup in not only downloads. But as a sicky in the general forum as well. I agree with everyone being forced to use the same config setup, regardless of what it is set to. Cars killing people. I'm kind of on the fence on this one. Is it annoying to get killed by a car, sure. But, the same people that are complaining, also kill people with cars. You can use flakjacket to reduce the possibility of being killed. If your choosing a different perk. Then you cannot really complain. I don't know if its possible, but I would like to see combat medic easier to revive people. On an older game, "Delta Force: Black Hawk Down", You could just thro the med pack at them like what the C4 looks like, then they have the option to res or not. Standing above them and and waiting just gets me killed. lol In all honestly, I like it the way it was when I first started playing here. Hense the reason I started playing here. I think no matter how it gets changed or how it evolves. There will always be someone who complains. It's just the nature of the game. People do not like to lose/die.

I would love there to be friendly fire, so I can cap someone on the same team camping a doorway or stairs, blocking their own teammates from getting thru. My biggest pet peeve(s) though are: people that don't tell you there's an enemy or betty/claymore by them when you come to defrost; so as a reward for helping that teammate, you die....and if you manage to get an emp off and defrost them anyway, they don't even bother to come back and defrost you, even though they got you killed..... or some people that habitually refuse to move to defrost teammates that are in the same building or otherwise in close proximity. But that'd be opening a whole can of worms...so....
