Hey All- Been a regular on the Freeze Tag and Free for All sites and decided that I should join up and in appreciation of all the great people here and the great games. I have been a FPS gamer since the original COD. Have them all on CDs. Got into Multiplayer gaming with COD2 and joined the now extinct, American Generals Clan...hence the name GEN_Morgan. The rules there were you had to take a former US General Name as your user name when you joined the clan and I took mine from General Daniel Morgan, a legendary sharp shooter and guerilla fighter from the US revolutionary war. The movie "The Patriot" is very, very loosely based on Daniel Morgan and the Battle of the Cowpens for you history types. Speaking of, I am a WW2 history nerd and have seen most movies on the subject and have a pretty extensive book collection as well. Love the XI group here and have met and gamed with many cool people from all over the world. Best memory so far is being called a "Poxy Plank". Best put-down I have ever heard. @MR.Dead, here is some info regarding clan membership from the front page of our website. Just keep interacting in the forums and in game >XI< Clan Membership is by Admin invite only. If you are a regular player on our servers and are interested in joining >XI< then you will eventually get approached by a server admin. Simple as that really... if you play with us, are fun and fit in you will receive an invite.

To be honest it's amazing this seems to cause so many issues. Friendly banter "Fuuuu haxor" - Maybe every few kills or with someone you have a rapport with. Casually/jovially says similar in voice chat. Not friendly banter "Fuck you hacker" or something to that effect, after almost every kill. May also derogatorily mention family members and wish bodily harm or death upon said person. Actively sows discontent in voice chat trying to turn others against said player. Will continue unabated until the end of time unless there is some sort of intervention. I guess these hackers have also now sat and coded a new program to get around Sammy's code that makes the screen red if lodscalerigid is changed.

I am scared to say what i actually feel after reading these comments. As an ADM i am going to keep my personal feelings to myself. I just know that i am a player who calls people out all the time. I guess i easily offend people but they never report me because i am a bully and i will kick their ass....JK. Honestly after reading all this I wonder why i have not been report yet...Just saying!!!

Hey everyone, Been playing on the Cod4 MW2 Freezetag server for a few years and think its finally time to pop my head in here on the forums. Im a 25 year old Swedish guy living life who enjoys spending too much of my freetime playing shooter games. Been playing Cod4 since 2008 and racked up many thousands of hours in the process. I have previously been heavily involved in codjumper, promod and other ranked games but no longer do anything of that. See you ingame

Well Guys, I received a bit of good news about internet. As I said before the only connection that I can get is with a Verizon JetPack. Nothing else available! Our Electric company is beginning to run lines for Internet Service. 300, 1 Gig and 2 Gig !!! Whoopie!!! They are beginning in Eastern Alabama and hopefully I should have connectivity by the end of Summer... Maybe. And the prices are not bad compared to Satellite or DSL where it is available. SO I'm hoping to be back sooner than later. Just want to say I really miss you people and I can't wait to get back in the game.

Agreed, so ok now you have a nice warm feeling about someone who is 'just jabbing ya' and then they offend you a few hours, days, weeks later and you re-interpret their responses in a different way...now you want them BANNED FROM EVERYTHING!!! I have 4 cast iron pans and I do the same as you. I wash with soap and water every time I use them, rinse with water then dry, put on stove turn it on and once heated season with veggie oil. I don't put them back in the oven tho and they have lasted for years. Great pans for sure and non stick for me. Great for making Sheppards Pie.

That's one of the things that annoy me the most there. Someone better than you kills you and its "hacker" this and "asshole" that. No team work, no working together. Just shit flinging. Not been on there much myself lately but I can only handle so much until the toxicity gets too much. The CoD4 and 5 servers are crazy. I respect those admins. On CoD2 we know each other really well because its a smaller crowd of like, 25 people and easier to police.

I've been into mining for years. about 10 years ago I sold all my btc, about 23 of them for $300 a piece, and walked away pretty happy...now that it's around 50k each, I'm not so happy about it I recently started mining again. I have an 580 mh/s asic scrypt miner that makes about $4 a day, $2 after the cost of electricity. And I also mine on my video card for a about $2 a day. I would really like to build a GPU rig, but I can't find decent video cards anywhere... Anyone know where to get 30 series Nvidia cards or 5700 xt or better amd cards, I'm looking!

Crypto mining is the way to go. Set up a dedicated miner system and let it go. I did a huge amount of research a few years back when it was crazy. I had it broke down by video card. Which card would earn the most and the amount to expect. My father and I were going to set up a small mining farm, but life kept that from happening. I will see if I can find that thread and repost it here. Found the thread. We were discussing the price of video cards going through the roof because of mining. This thread is a couple years old. Prices will come back down in a few months. Mining for cryptocurrency with "PC" rigs will slow down, now that the price of bitcoin and others are dropping. Plus the latest ASIC Miners are getting more efficient than PC rigs and ASIC miners are easier to setup. But they are pretty damn loud. More people are doing "Cloud Mining" ( I being one). With cloud mining your renting ASIC miners, that these sites maintain for a percentage of your profit. Now when ASIC Miners and/or video card rig prices settle down, I may build my own miner or buy an ASIC Miner. At current values (hash rates, difficulty rate and bitcoin price) a single Radeon 570 pc rig would earn around $3.00 - $3.50 per day (after operating costs). Thats $1,095 profit a year. Now build a PC rig with 6 Radeons would earn you $6,570 profit a year (at current values). A 6 card pc rig would cost roughly $1750 to $2,000 to build. After 4 months the rig is paid for. Now the latest ASIC Miners can earn you up to $250 a week or $13,000 per year. At current levels. But they cost around $6,000 to buy. An ASIC would pay for itself in 6 months. So in the long run ASIC's are the way to go. I predict bitcoin will be around $5,000 per coin in about a month (if not sooner). And with the governments around the world on the fence about cryptocurrencies, that alone is making shit volatile. Now if the governments come to a consensus and acknowledge cryptocurrencies, well one could see bitcoin shoot up to $100,000 in a few years. But then again, they could all go belly up !! Very interesting and unpredictable investment.

There was talk of banned cryptocurrency all together in some countries not to awfully long ago. Is there some sort of bitcoin insurance?
