For the record, it's not like I was some derp who randomly and suddenly became a god over night. I've been at a professional level with fps games since I can remember. I came from the XI cod5 ffa server, never having lost a single match (excluding ones where I came in like half way through, and even then very rarely did I ever come in second.) That's after playing on the server for months. For the first half of my time there, I didn't even know about tweaking configs and I still never lost. Yes, when I came to cod4 I wasn't immediately owning face, but it was simply a matter of time before I improved dramatically. As I get older, it obviously takes longer to adapt, but I always do, and I'm done explaining myself. If you want to chalk my skill up to some imaginary promod bind bullshit, by all means captain. End of line Firstly, thank you for the first part of your response, and as for the second, my only rational would be that after awhile, and a great many attempts at "debating people on the merits of your position can go a long way ", it becomes increasingly difficult to proceed without a jaded approach. Imagine for a second, being accused of something that you didn't do 15 times. That doesn't seem so bad, but what about 150 times? I've been personally attacked on a number of fps games thousands of times. I've proven countless times that I don't use hacks or cheats... Thousands, and I always begin with an attempt much like this post. What I've come to realize is that, some people absolutely hate playing against players better than them, some absolutely love it. We have a mixture of both, and I've always been part of the latter, as I feel many who I play with on the mw2 server are. Take that a step further, and look at what this post is about; I'm literally being attacked by people for using a tweaked config THAT THEY THEMSELVES USE. Either that, or they tweak it through console and make the same tweaks I've made... To me, that is so beyond absurd, I have a hard time understanding how to express that without immense frustration! What would you do? I personally feel that I am a genuinely good guy, but I'm not a saint, and I can only take so much bullshit before I fire back. I don't hate anyone here, much the opposite, I love this community and wanted to be a part of this clan since day 1; I feel that I demonstrate that daily on the mw2 server.
