Picked up a 9.6 pound Sirloin Centre cut roast. Cut it down the middle, trussed it put a few cloves of garlic in it. Rubbed it with liberal amounts of pink salt and coarse ground pepper. Kniwimy mother won’t eat beef unless it is dried out tough as leather. I cooked it to 165 F in the thin bits and 145 in the thicker bits. I describe it at medium and medium well. If I was cooking it for myself it would be medium and medium rare. Non the less it turned out delicious.10 points

Getting forgetful! I didn’t think to take a picture of the slices. I gave the parents the smaller piece. The thicker part was medium but mother turned her nose up. I sliced it all up for them so they can make sandwiches etc. I left 2 1/2 pound pieces of the medium so mother can murder it lol. When I left dad was pounding the slices to him! He said it was the best roast beef he’s ever tasted. That’s justification enough for me right there. If he’s happy I’m happy. Thanks fir the comments Wayne6 points

I am sorry for not posting sooner but I am lost and broken...Blackbart>XI< (Roger) was a amazing person....A Vietnam Vet and a Proud American...We would spend hours on the phone over the many years in regards to this community and real life affairs...He never once had anything to say bad about no one and was a very out spoken honorable man...We truly have suffered a great loss and frankly I have been devastated... He always had a ear to lend and more wisdom then I could ever dream of...Let the record show he was last seen on our server 8/11/2021 7:25:48 PM EST and I had the honor to speak to him 8/17/2021 on the phone...I got the chance to thank him for being a dear friend to us all and me personally and for his commitment to this community...He really enjoyed serving as Admin on the servers and the many friendships that came out of them....He fought one hell of fight with illnesses over the years and never complained about it... May his Family find comfort and may he Rest in Eternal Peace ! Please continue to lift up some Prayers for his wife and the rest of his family and friends loADER>XI< William Shepherd Gone but never forgotten !4 points

thank you all for the response, I did not say that one should not jump, I said that people who come the jump ends all the way through maps that shoot to the right and left is not fun, to Timmae I do not always sit passively in the spawn, I also run around and jumps, maybe just not as much as anyone else does, wpq has tried to be on this server with no jump, it is not fun, so I think I will close it here3 points -
Ever tried Sous Vide??? https://www.beefsteakveg.com/sous-vide-sirloin-steak/ You can precook it via sous vide, then if need it with that burned sear look, right before dinner quickly fry it with say rosemary and butter and maybe mushrooms and onions, and poof! Fantastik!3 points

@loaderXI I quoted you because the 3 of us go back so far here and became so close over the years that we became like Brothers, and Roger was and always will be a "Big Brother" in my Heart. So the words you posted loader are the same as I would have to try to explain to anyone who reads this just how crushed I am inside to learn that the Man I Loved like a big brother is in Heaven and I will live with the hope we meet on the other side. He has such a wonderful way of saying so much with just his laugh from that's funny to your a fucking asshole which was part of his charm. I remember encouraging him to join, asking him and Loader to please help me when I was asked to become head Admin for COD2. Loader was the tech guy and Bart was the voice of reason and I was the mouthy one and we made a great team even though both really weren't sure they deserved to be made Admins which shows their level of respect for the guys who did the job before them. Roger was there for me on a personal level in ways I will forever be grateful for. The one thing I regret is while we talked on the phone, X-fire, Teamspeak, PM's, FB, in game many many times over the 15 years we were friends we never met face to face but I could always call him when ever I wanted and he could do the same and we both enjoyed our times together. I don't recall even if we disagreed on something was there ever a cross word between us and again that is a credit to who he was as a Human Being, he was special. I could go on for hours trying explain just how much I LOVED ROGER BARTLETT and why but typing thru these tears is getting very difficult. I have not felt this depth of personal loss in many years and yet I pray tonight and every night for his Wife and Family not for myself. My Brother is in Heaven now watching over me, he knows I love him but the world lost one of the truly good guys. RIP Rog Ron3 points -

Got word today that Blackbart passed away today. I can’t believe these great people are gone from our lives. Bart was one of the original members and has been through it all with this clan and has always stood strong with the decisions that the clan made. He was the best clan mate, friend anyone could ask for. He will be truly missed by so many here especially the cod2 crew where Bart played. RIP my friend1 point

Thing I hate about Samsung is all the bloatware they load on the phone. I always remove it or disable it to speed up the phone. But its the hassle. They say Motorola phones have very little "bloatware" installed from factory. I will research other Motorola phones too.1 point

I was rifling through albums at our local Walmart and came across WVH Mammoth. Cover looked very cool and I had no idea who released it. I then saw it was Wolfgang Van Halen. So I thought what the hell, I will give it a spin. I was thinking it was going to have a Van Halen vibe. I was surprised !! Sound nothing like Van Halen, and I hear different influences in all the tunes. I hear STP, Foo Fighter, Nickleback, Seven Mary Three and many others thrown in. His own sound, so to speak. Side one is good, but side two is even better. Nice stuff and produced very well. All done at his fathers studio. And from what I read he played all the instruments. The vinyl pressing is nice and the soundscape is very wide. Nice freshman solo album. Here is one of the many great tunes. All you Rock fans check it out.1 point -

He wasn't just a fellow CoD2 admin, he was much more than that. He was the embodiment of >XI<, always a great laugh and it was always my mission to smack him upside the head. But most importantly he was a friend and one of the family. I woke up this morning for work with a message from Loader on facebook telling me the news. It's just all so surreal. Your name will forever be a part of this family bart and when it's my turn, I got all eternity to smack you when I find you rest well brother, you really have earned it. My thoughts to his wife and family in this difficult time.1 point -

Bart was one of a kind, a very special man who was respected and loved by almost everyone. I was lucky enough to have Bart as a friend from the very beginning of XI. His humor/laugh, and his kindness, added enjoyment to every game he played. Bart always had positive things to say and if one crossed that line he would address the issue in politeness and firmness when required. Struggling to imagine a XI gameplay without Bart, words cannot describe this emptiness. Bart you will never be forgotten, RIP my friend.1 point
