" In the early years of >XI< a group of members thought we should move to be a pro clan. They didn't get their way and split off and started their own clan. Their clan is no loner around and we keep expanding. We value our friendships with our clan brothers and sisters. We are competitive, but first and foremost we play for fun. If you are are here just to get the top score game after game, you are in the wrong place. I have banned players for emptying the servers. I will never apologize for doing so. As an Admin we are entrusted with the smooth running of the server and to do what is best for our members. Letting someone on a head trip come in repeatedly and rape the players to the point that they leave is not acceptable and I won't allow it to go on...

NO, the people that accuse others of hacking, cheating, spawn camping, spawn killing, whatever else they complain about are the problem. They need to be dealt with. They are the shit bucket agitators that cant understand that maybe, just maybe someone else is better at the game than they are. They ruin the gaming experience for everyone in the server at that time.

I am so glad I grew up in the late 60 and 70's. And Im glad I raised my kids to have "Tough Skin" too. To take criticism and learn from it. Not to be one of those kids we all know. If we vote on this issue and it passes as a no we ban skilled players, might as well ban the following from insurgency. @Daemon, @Crus4de, @Evil-Monkey , @Helio, @XYU[r0nin], [Not-live], T34MMANGER, Levanheimer, SNAK3, @Chips Ahoy, Banana, Moon is best, Choco, @unagi_pie, Hayden Vista, DOTA, Mr. Five, Rainbow, Nullspace, goliath, evil corps. 23 players rght here. Oh wait theres about 20-30 other names too . There goes the admin team for insugency, sandstorm, and a TON of players. Handing out bans to someone because they out-skill you is god awful. Just because we arn't a "Pro" clan doesn't mean that we should discriminate against players for being skilled at a video game. By that logic we should fire mailmen for delivering mail on time if not quicker. Its not head-tripping if someone naturally plays at a high level in a video game. Out of the list I posted, majority of the players there almost always play consistently well. What happens when an XI member comes along with natural skill and dominates, you guys going to ban him/her off the game too or does it not count for XI members? I've been across multiple gaming communities and I have never in my life game across any type of logic as such. I see the point of you trying to make sure players arnt leaving the server. Its a hassle keeping players on if they arn't having fun. But ultimately it comes down to the fact they either get over it or they don't. Or maybe im just going too far with it all, who knows. This is my last post on the subject.

Not that my opinion matters much, but if you think about an e-sport gamer freak that indeeds ROCKs and obliterates casual players 24/7, I would question the motivation of THAT player to nuke everybody out of a regular server. Just like an NHL hockey player doesn't flip all the kids going to hockey school, just like a teacher that could laugh his students out of the park but doesn't do it because its too easy. I guess is that the overachieving players that come in to a regular server to PAWN noobs are just maliciously taking pleasure doing it. I'm playing Quake Champions, which is a known E-sport title. I'm not bad, but nowere great. There is season pass dudes that compete World-wide, and those guys play RANKED servers for that reason...you wanna compete in YOUR CLASS of people... Do you think that Einstein, if he was the be alive, would spend time pawning high-school Physics teacher? No way. He would deal with world-stage scientists of his level... So, I think that dominating players, if they are coming to the same servers repeatedly to empty it, should be talked to to gauge the motives...clan servers exist because the gameplay, rules (racial, religion, insults) can be enforced and control the experience a little bit. I guess its why clan members donate towards server cost too...because they appreciate the experience of playing with friends more than their own score... Mind you, the only game where I was good enough to seriously aggravate folks and finish in the top 3 repeatedly was COD4 back when it came out....not i'm more of a low-average player... My 2 cents....

Well, let me correct you on one point here. The player is not disrupting the server, all the people who don't like that they are getting their asses kicked are disrupting the server by calling the player a hack, a cheater, making comments about how he doesn't exist in the server and the #2 player is actually the winner. Then half of them decide to leave because they just can't fathom how anyone could be so much better than they are and simply must be cheating. Then they start berating the Admin team for not doing anything about the fact that there's someone in the server that's way better than they are. This isn't about "the player". All they want to do is play. No, this is about all the >XI< rule violations that members and guests commit in the presence of someone better than they are. Good players get banned while people breaking >XI< rules have no consequence at all. In the end, that's what this is about, as I see it.

Spawn killing will get you banned if you continue to do it after several warnings. Domination on its own will not get you banned. We have several players that are hard to beat and win most games they play. I'm talking about someone that comes in and wins every time, even beating our best players by a considerable margin. When that happens and our regular players leave the server because of it then something has to be done. To those that say our members and regulars have to get over it, I ask "what are they to get over?" It's their server!!! In my opinion the offending player is going against our code of conduct. "we play with honor, and we strive to treat each other with respect and consideration". What honor is there in repeatedly taking the fun out of the game by overwhelmingly winning against lesser skilled players, "where is the respect and consideration". There are servers that cater to that level of player.

Hi all! After mine and Echo's server has folded (JFF-Just For Fun) we are looking at new pastures. Your server (and gametype, FFA) is great! ? IMHO only cheaters should be banned, you can still have fun with others whilst someone owns your butt (am I getting the Americanisms correct ). I like playing with better players, it improves myself and gives a challenge, otherwise constantly pwning would get boring (another problem I have, get it? Cos' I pwned so much!).

As a world class player, the only thing I had to do was to get myself killed to stay in mid field. ? Just be happy and be the good folks you are. This is what makes this server fun to play!

So what you are basically saying is, if someone is better than me I can report them and get them banned because I feel insecure that Im not good at a video game? Asking someone to tone is down is literally horseshit. They are having fun and if someone cant accept they are getting their asses handed to them, then they dont need to play. I can think of over 10 people on insurgency who go 70+ kills every match they play, but people dont care. They accept it and move on. People complain and that is the way of life. It does make us look bad. It makes us look like a bunch of noobs that can't accept when someones better than they are. How do you fix it? Tell everyone to stop bitching about a player that knows how to play the game. If someone is abusing or hacking, sure. But if they are generally better the population, tell the people with complaints to fuck off and play. Its a video game, not a real life situation.
