We never kick for people, member or non member. We all have to wait... Even the admins wait in line....... That means if you join a queue of 7 (and you do, because the servers are really popular because we DON'T do things like kicking for members...) you get priority over normal players, even the ones with Premium, so you're always in before non-members. 2. you can get on the ignore list for the sniper-limit script. Normally, if you're the 6th person to sit his fat ass in the spawn sniping at people you get killed by the limit. If you're a member, you can have that limit ignored so you can snipe happily away, and even taking a sniper slot from a non-member, forcing them to play with some other weapon. 3. if you tell an admin a player is fucking with you, you get immediate response and reaction. Unlike random Joes and Janes, the admins know you, and they're a lottle more likely to take your word for it. (Bans obviously require some proper evidence, but a warning or even a kick for genuine assholes is a LOT easier for members to get done on the fly.) 4. you get to show off you XI tags, which are universally accepted to be confirmation of coolness. There are clans out there that kick for their members to get in. After a few weeks, the regulars stop coming and you no longer need to kick for members. And then pretty soon you don't need to upkeep the server because all your members have gone to fuller servers. In COD there has been multiple players kicked for members with a message appearing on screen saying the reason for kick. I agree it can seem harsh to non members and a thin line between keeping members happy and servers full maybe a slight rethink in rules you could be sat there for a whole map is the five minute rule applicable? Granted, sniperlimit and priority joining is also given to not members, if they're regulars on TS (and bf4 server). But this won't effect members joining, since the waiting time with priority hardly ever passes the 4 minutes (for me atleast). And what @ said, it gives a bit of an administrative clusterfuck every time an admin is asked to clear out the queue (that queue is a double edge blade, if it's needed it's because we got popular servers, but then again no one wants to wait.) BF4 is a different type of game, everyone is playing a role in their squad working towards a goal, abruptly disrupting that sounds unfair. I do believe members are prioritized in the Queuing though. They are used to kicking. We are not.... But okay. If there would be a vote, then the vote should be for only BF4 players, so actually only XI members who play BF4 on a regular basis. Even you drop in only, what is it? Once a week/two weeks for half a round? We have the server for over 2 years now, and we always done it like this and noone ever has been complaining about it. You are prioritized in que, so the wait is only 2 to 5 mins (if the map is popular), so i really don`t see a problem here... I would never return to a server that would kick me while i have a good round. Also, as jay said...when there is a big queue, which is when members want non-members kicked... who do we kick? ....the whole queue of 10 people + someone in game?? someone in a great squad with an ok score? no...cos that would spoil their fun and game and thats just cruel for the sake of 5 mins lol.... ok.. so kick someone with a very low score.. or someone on zero who just joined?? ... ouch!! so they just waited in our queue of 10 ppl.... maybe without being on our list, being bumped and bumped by our already bloated prio system that basically everyone is on anyways.... but they waited.. cos they love our server.. so ppl sit in a queue of 10 people.. every night of the week.. 100% they sit there and wait.. then they get in.. but 2 mins later they get kicked cos a member couldnt wait 5-10 mins... really? wow! we have a queue every night of the week cos we DONT do that .... and never mind it being horrible to do to someone, its just pointless when our queue jump system means members/regulars dont even wait in the whole queue.. they jump it... its like 5 mins man wow! This is done a lot easier with COD because there is no waiting que. The BF guys have a good system in place that will put members at the front of the que and will be next to be let in. This is to ensure we don't loose everyone in our que and still gives our members a perk for being a clan member. This is a win win for everyone.
