What do you guys do for a living?

Guess you can say I am REAL good with my hands..Destroy it and build it back ..Currently working where I live at doing all the maintenance, Mostly  Old style plaster and tiles , but , I do the basic plumbing and electrical too, install counter tops and kitchen cabinets etc...Before this I was a roofer for 10 years..Killed my knees. Before that  worked construction putting up small buildings (heavy gauge steel studs) for like 2 years..Before that I builded house stairs from scratch and carpentry..Guess you can say.

Worked don't scare me..Must be my warrior background...lol.

I'm a psychiatric nurse. Worked a lot in psychiatric jails (called TBS in dutch), elderly psychiatrics, child psychiatric hospitals and since almost two years working on a Intensive accute psychiatric ward where people usually come after they got arrested on the streets and spent one or two nights in jail. 

Currently got a job application running to become a psychiatric nurse on Aruba for six months to two years and start up the mental healthcare there, working together with Respaldo (name of the institution there).

All cool jobs mentioned in this thread before but I got the best one!

manager at a Home Depot, 22 years now.  Have 85 associates responsible for the day to day as well as training, hiring and driving sales.  Also I get to walk average of 12 miles a day every day I work.

Funny, My job for the last 16 years is in a TBS kliniek,

kind of hard to explain what TBS is, but its a bit like Jeroen said, a psychiatric jail, 

If something goes wrong between the walls, Im the one to lead the intervention s for example when there is a fight going on, something medical or a fire.

Before that I worked in the construction, mostly steel constructions. Done that with a lot of pleasure.

 

And I still try to work as a gigolo, but no cusomers sofar, dunno why, prob because Im an Xtreme Idiot^^

I currently have 2 jobs, but they are 1 at the same time. Basically I work at a vacations agency; sometimes im in the "selling you a travel" stand for which i get paid montly, and other times im sent as a tourist guide, for which i get paid daily. Its a job i actually like, and i get to visit to a ton of new places, the only two cons i find are the low payment for the amount of hours i work and the energy consuming it can be
